........4 plants (in flower room)with 1000 hps eye hortilux..

If you're still vegging them and have an adjustable ballast you can turn it down to 600 Watt.

With only 4 plants under a 1KW light just cut off the lower branches and you're good to go as long as all developing flowers get direct light.
You might want to trim off what is growing on the lower branches close to the stem or you will end up with small and fuzzy flowers in that area.

:tiphat:

paulo73 your Flash trip to Morrocos is awesome as well!

What I am doing here where I live is as legal as it can be i.e. on a local & federal level.

That's why I was advised to delete the outdoor pictures I had posted a while ago:
So people potentially recognizing where those pics were taken would not flood this area and bring negative press to to the islands making it sound like these are a bunch of islands full of drug addicts....

Regarding my time...I have a ton of it. Literally.

All I do here is what you see in this thread and go fishing/diving & the occasional hog hunt.

The stress comes when I have to leave to the USA to take care of my businesses.
I already am horrified by that thought...another trip soon coming up.

All right just went and took them.

This is what's left, the rest has been picked up/distributed already.

I've been following quietly, loving the concept and scenario  Those must be some very happy islanders

Looking forward to the next grow :bump:

I wouldn't worry too much about having to go into the US, knowing what's waiting for when you get home. All you need is a clean seat of clothes for the flight. I'd be more scared about the actual flight, them little planes, brrrr :chin:

Haha that made me laugh!

I have to agree with you ;)...I usually am my own pilot for the 1st section.
Been licensed for over 20 years now. Don't have my own plane anymore
(used to have a Super Piper Cub in AK) but still get to fly other peoples equipment mostly so it won't sit around for 11 months out of a year while the owners are not around.

NOT my picture, neither my plane.
But this is exactly what I used to own and fly for a living:
sportcub.jpg

It was one bad ass plane.
Not because it was mine but what other plane can beat the below?
I had it modified later on for heavier loads and that's when the numbers went up. ;)

These are the specs for the STOCK model:

It has a top speed of 122 mph (103 mph cruise), a 790 fpm climb rate and a 450 mile range. Its landing ground roll is a mere 245 ft, although you'll need 415 ft to get off the ground again. The relatively frugal Continental powerplant consumes 4-5 gal/hr, meaning that it'll cost about $23 per hour to run at current 100 LL fuel prices.

I am green with envy.

Flying is my dream, though not feasible for someone of my 'social strata.'

I think it probably costs about $150,000 for complete flight training with airtime.

Jealous.

Dude...assuming you're a lot younger than me the world is wide open to you!

Dunno what kinda of flying you are eyeballing but it is by far not as costly to get licensed as many think. As long as the type of license does not include more than you and one passenger it actually is really cheap.
The whole package is about 8 to 12grand US$ (equal to the price of a decent car), most get their lic. within 6 to 8 weeks and it is called:

Sport Pilot License:

- Training cost (estimated): $3,000-$5,000
- Type of airplane: Any that meets LSA classification
- In-flight training: 20 hours (minimum)
- Medical Requirements: Drivers License or FAA Medical
- Minimum Age: 17
- Certification Process: must pass an FAA written and practical examination
- Flying at night: No
- Flying cross country: Yes
- Flight in inclement weather or clouds: No
- Flight in controlled airspace: Yes with additional instructor sign-off
- Occupants: 2 (pilot and passenger)
- Altitude limit: 10,000 ft. MSL (mean sea level)

A commercial lic is a totally different animal.

To get one it will cost you around US$45,000 or more depending on how fast you learn.
If you're interested you can read about the details HERE.

With that license you can fly cargo and/or people and make some decent money.

Or do what I did and fly cargo and hunters in Alaska. Flying in AK is the real thing. No congested traffic to deal with, no obnoxious tower operators and you're all on your own for the most part and get to see some really cool stuff.
However know what you are doing or you won't be doing it for long. ;)

PS: Nice little video you attached there, been there and done that just about a million times! Now it's just landing on water, no more snow. ;)

Job well done Strainhunter!:good:
Did you ever release the name of the strain that was grown?
I thought this thread originally started out as a contest to guess the WeedBeat strain used in this "Mystery Grow" and the winner would receive a free pack of beans from the new Weedbeat line-up. :dunno:

This has been a very inspiring thread for me Strainhunter. Many thanks for showing us your methods.
I will also Lollipop my plants and hope to get as good results as you have in respects to yield accordingly.
Of course my yield will depend on amount of plants. Right now i am still at veg (from seed) and so I dont know yet how many females I will have.
