What an amusing summary.
Anyways, this was never a question of temperature or whatever "facts" you think we're all missing here, but simply how much THC you can get into the glycerin and how much glycerin can be vaporized in an ecig at once.
The math just doesn't work, rendering a minuscule amount of thc per hit in an ecig with even the strongest recipes presented, and as such, you'll be vaping tincture in an ecig for a long time to get "high."
Grey Wolf has reported success with the ecig, but his method involves making cannabis acetate, and as he says, the glycerin tincture is just not impressive when used in an ecig.
I'll quote him:
So yeah, there's hope for the ecig after all, but not in glycerine tincture form.
But by all means, give it a try yourself, and in a few months you can actually have something to contribute to the thread.
IT was about temps since Sam_SkunkMan made it to be, at least that is my understanding of him saying 280C. As for if it will work, I cannot say it will, but I would love to see the vids and such that the OP has to offer. Just because one person says it didn't work for them, doesn't mean it doesn't. I'm not taking sides, but until the OP throws out some videos and such, I am pretty disappointed. I've been waiting awhile to vape tinctures in an e-cig, so I would love to see how far this goes. The OP has provided lots of information, I think a DIY post was also made. Unless someone can actually test these tinctures out first hand, someone who knows about vaporization and the effects of pure actives to do the testing, we wont have our answer.
As for me trying, I wouldn't until I knew exactly what I was doing, and could replicate it. Currently I wouldn't be able to do something like that in my current living space, nor have the material to do so. Anyone wanna donate 10 pounds to the KZ foundation?
