Both the Mags and the blockbusters are awesome.

If you require a massive footprint and are using 1000s you can get closer using the Magnums as the light is less focused.

With the blockbuster I start to get trouble if I let plants get to within 10 inches of the glass and thats using a 600w.

Def best shades available bar non.

i have the super sun 2 , blockbuster and also the magnum . all 3 hoods are great the only let down on the magnum is the glass slides out not a flip down like the ss2 and bb .

I wish they would do a shade one size bigger than the xxl. One that could fit 2 bulbs. With their reflective tech I am sure they could develop a shade perfect for a 150 x 150 foot print for two bulbs.

Having said that tho, I am going to give vert bare bulb a go next. And really can not wait to get onto drippers. Thanks for you advice on that cheesy.

Can't wait to see your next updates, how long do you veg these ladies for?

Tell me about it. I use an mj450 pump and rigid hose fitting to hand feed my pots and it's a real pita. Normally the hose pops off and floods a little area. That and the fact I'm getting weaker these days the constant carrying of buckets of water is leading to regular floorings of the house I am growing in. Lol.

I picked up a watering wand the others day, had to be put on to at least an mj1000 to get anything out of it and it's too dam powerful. Squashing all the coco and flooding water over the side of the pots.

Only a few more weeks left and the drippers will be going in, once I can find a suitable sized res that will fit in the grow area.

At the hiddenroom im only useing a 40 ltr res . no point useing bigger as we top up every 2 days (fresh nutes)
the next grow wont be 9 plants but 4 killer queen topped at the 5th node and lst to the max in 15 ltr air pots vegged to around 20" hopefully we will pull 8 to 10 easy dry from each . most likey hand feed the 4 this time .
