whoah that's SO cheap compared to Santa Cruz, a real DUMP is STILL $250-$300K and that is in meth head zone too. Dyammn for $30-40K I could own a house and rent it out for cash flow...or (hmmmmm now you got me thinking REAL hard).

My rotations were based on 9 week harvey`s so I could pull 10 crops per location with 2 flip rooms 4.5 weeks apart in age....Last crop was @ 49.5 weeks , and that gave me a couple weeks ta clean up and tear down all equipment to be re-installed at new location.......

There`s no magic ta findin locations , just gotta get out there and hunt local real estate websites for a property you`d feel safe growin in while bein ableta afford said payments and utilities....

I never lived at my setups , but they were fixer upper`s at cents on the dollar , and with me bein a carpenter/homebuilder , it was the perfect front ta grow my ass off for that 1 yr period , while remodelin and gettin said property ready for re-sale or lease out depending on how safe the neighborhoods were....

You`re in a perfect position ta clean up where you live with a depressed economy Bobble.....set goals and achieve em....Once I had my shit down pat , I was payin off 1 house per yr , and buyin another 1 ta work on...simple...babyshit....

I used lease/option agreements for the first 5 yrs or so growin inside , and then went balls up buyin foreclosures in my small const co name for the last almost 10 yrs....no guts , no glory.....

I hear where your coming from Bobblehead, I just got out of college with a 4 year degree in Bus. Mgmt., not many jobs to be had but I got a good one somehow.

The great depression era had more new millionaires than in any other point in history or something like that. Change = Opportunity. I believe that if young, ambitious, and educated professionals like ourselves keep our heads on strait we can really make big things happen. Carpe Diem all up in this bitch haha..


The grind continues as I slave away at the day job saving most of my income, opted out of my 401k, I ain't workin' there forever! I need that money NOW to get a house hopefully with low-to-no money down (1-5k), is that possible for a lease/option?

I wish you the best bro, I'm in the NorthEast and legal is not an option. Mine as well blow it up right, someone said, "We only live once so give em hell." And "Go Big or Go Home!"

I like the idea of not having my property seized... the rent to buy sounds like a nice option, except my check stubs don't show very much income... ha ha... Cash talks though.

I see so many houses for sale for CASH ONLY... and $30k isn't an unrealistic sum of money to save in a years time... So I'm thinking about skipping straight to "balls up buying foreclosures"...

Whatcha think about that? I mean the whole point is to not get caught, so if I keep my mouth shut and don't live at the property... Did you keep a dog at the house? Or did you just bring your pooch by the house while you were there? I know you said you had security systems, but they alert the police... so I don't know how I feel about that.

The funny thing is this is as real as a heart attack. Everyone wants to grow a shit ton of weed... and assuming you can move it... what are you gonna do with all that dirty money? always happy to meet another young educated grower. :) Anything is possible with land contract or rent to buy. Many affordable down-payments. Get yourself a real estate book and start studying. You did it for 4 years already, so you know the drill...

That piece of paper I have hanging on my wall doesn't mean shit to anyone. They don't care how many languages I speak. What matters is what you're gonna do with it. I got my financial knowledge in school, and my management skills... I've been achieving goals as long as I can remember. There is nothing I can't do if I want it bad enough.

First thing I did was to put 4' chain link fence and a pitbull at every location with a "for sale by owner" sign in the front....My security systems called my cell phone , not the police....If needed , I called popo at my discretion....

Had a setup get jacked by tweakers 1 time at random in the neighborhood , but I had just finished the last run for that property and all they got was my fuckin refrigerator with all my genetics from 15 yrs of collecting.....

The idiots didn`t know the house was empty , but I`d rather lost the last crop than those beans...

Many ways ta skin a mule Bobble....Anything I can do ta help just holler.....and yeah.....Ball`s up or fuck it`s always been my motto cuz I was a criminal with 1 plant , much less what I pumped out over the yrs....

Just a pore `ol farmer that`s got by all these yrs by trustin me....They ain`t makin no more real estate....as a rule the shit goes up in price , so it`s a solid investment for passive income in your retired yrs when yas need it.....

I wear overalls for a livin and build a lil shit from time ta time in this bullshit economy , but my boy`ll have somethin ta fall back on when I go outta here....

He`s 22 and I`ve been doin this shit all these yrs to provide for us and his future.....needless to say I told nobody....the guy that took all my shit was told I was gettin it from a friend in Cali.....nobody to this day in real life knows I grew.....Insulation has kept me free....Insulate yourself.....always.....

save your money and use the internet. The newspaper is depressing. Google Maps and Earth are your friend. Make sure the picture is up to date.

I plugged in my Drizair200 for the first time today... I figured I should see if it works... ha ha... After about 20 mins, water started trickling out the bottom. Well, the good news is it works! But why isn't the water getting pumped out? So I popped the hatch, opened up the pump... and found the hose was old and broken. Fixed that... and I have a bangin BIG-assed dehuey for $450 and a back window... lol

The room is loaded, I'll flip in a day or two... I have some cleaning to do. I have a lot of other things to handle right now too.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm at my apartment now, laying on the floor checking up on things... Taking a break from cleaning up. I just noticed my Hindu Kush seeds are gone! I'm so pissed off... I got them that day and had left them on the counter... They're not irreplaceable, but definitely hard to come across! This makes me want to take my sledge and go pay my homie a visit... But karma will settle up with him later... I still have $1k's in seeds in the fridge... :p

Update:
I've been flowering since Monday. I've been able to keep lights on/off temps within 5F. :) lights off is normally 68-69, lights on is 73. As soon as I fire up the other pod, I should be able to keep the temps 70-75. It's a little on the cool side right now, but I don't think it'll be detrimental... How am I keeping it within 5F? Well I thought you guys would never ask! :D Using my Aqua Logic dual-stage controller, I can set minumum and maximum temperatures, with heat exchangers in each pod and 1 in front of my exhuast.

I bought a reverse osmosis system, 150gpd... I wish it had came with instructions, b/c I didn't have an internet connection to look it up... but I figured it out and got that all hooked up yesterday. I just have to go out and buy a float valve and I'll have plenty of RO water on tap at all times.

My dehuey draws so much power, I upgraded my accessory circuit from 15A to 20A... So far so good, but to be safe I'm going to run another 15A circuit just for the dehuey.
