Look great man. Looking back, do you think it was worth starting out in 3 gallon pots and transporting, or would you have thrown in the big boys right from the get-go?

i could have started them all out in the 10gal's to avoid any undue stress, but there is also something to be said for letting the roots fill up a smaller container before moving them to their bigger permant homes

really it was an issue of circumstance, the plants vegged a month longer than we planned, so we just threw them in bigger pots in a bigger flowering room.

It`s ALWAYS better to "up-pot/transplant" to larger containers as the rootmass swells with bigger plants....

Rootmass on "any" size plant determines how efficient nutrient uptake will be once they stop buildin roots by end of stretch , back up and start swellin , so allowing em ta dry out between feeds is everything till end of stretch......

If you use too large a container with smaller plants , what happens is the medium holds too much juice for proper drying out and rootbuilding process , stunts vertical as well as lateral growth , and won`t let em be all they can be till end of cycle.....

Waitin fer thisun ta blowup Schrews.....Good luck Bro....

There`s not a doubt in my mind that if started in smaller smartpots , that plants would do fine sitting on top of larger smartpots as they were "up-potted" to bigger containers beneath for growing larger plants , since there would be no air-root pruning beneath while in contact with constant moist substrate and the upper unit was preventing root spinning by air pruning sending all plant energy "below" for optimum rootzone/rootmass building/swellage for nutrient uptake once stretch was over and only suckin juice is their function for plant dialage till end of cycle........

BOG usedta cut the bottom`s/or not , outta his smaller plastic containers and set em on top of larger 1`s till they approached the size he wanted em before the flip and after stretch......wasn`t much of a difference between the 2....

Shcrews nice work man

how much fNB are you using?

Do you always use 5ml/fl of the grow for all your grows? Or just this show?

And how do you have the drain hooked up?

very nice friend.

1400 power bill, ouch !!!

I like the trees, coco, smart pots, and drainage system. I used to use a siphon to gather the waste water, what a PITA !!

Got yourself a girl that's cool with your growing, 2 houses, couple grows, probably in sunny california, doing well I see ! ;)

Ever use drip clean by House and Garden ? I recommend it to every coco grower, made a world of difference in my coco grows (my .02 !)

Will be watching this one, love the diesel

I use 5ml/gal of FNgrow during veg, and switch to 10ml/gal of FNbloom during flower.. 1-2ml/gal floralicious+ the whole time
I prefer House&Garden but we had some floranova sitting around so figured we would save money

the drainage is simple, just pvc attached to plant saucers to catch the runoff, which then drains outside.. value of teamwork.

only one house, this one. my double vertical rooms are in an apt where i dont pay rent, I am helping a medical patient there who cannot grow for himself and I get one room in exchange.

I first heard of Drip Clean from Krunchbubble, have used it with good results, but left it out of the mix for my last few runs. I still have a bottle, i will use it this run just for you Krunchy

cal mag i have used but dont think it's necessary with hard water (100+ppm)

I did a lot of work outside today, check out my sig!

thanks for stopping by, i love ICmag.. only good ppl here. peace!
