I have removed screens just due to trim. I`ll use netting next round again.

I`ve done two big mistakes. First was accidentialy bad pH at veg, coz I had an old meter. The second: I wasnt checking EC at the drain. Ferts have been into blumats reservoir. Later, I recognized that my ec at drain was about 2mS (1000ppm Hanna) despite feed was 1.3mS (650ppm). So if you use blumats and add ferts through them, you have to hand water and drain to waste at least one or two times a week.

I have got here round two with 4x Jack Herrer from cuttings (thanks alot for this gnetics to my friend.. Now I`m using lower screens and have been scroging just in grow in order to don`t disturb buds formation.

Bare bulb in a small cab is not easy.
A lot of folks around here use H&G Drip Clean to avoid weekly flushings. Apparently, this stuff neutralizes excess salts.
What is the temp where the leaves meet the wire fence? Why put clay balls on top of the coco? ........thanks

Add t: Putting fan under bulb solves a lot of troubles with temperature. Temp in the box is now around 25°C and when I have accidentaly touched bulb it was warm not hot.
Add salts: IMHO no stuff is comparable with drain to waste which flushes metabolites and unused elements away from medium..
Add clay: Roots were intergrowing to top near the dripper. It also slows down excess evaporation...
