7) Time until sexing Female seeds... so they are sexed from day 0. First shown pistils about 4-5 week

8) Total flower time Had to cull it while it was in week 6 or 7, overgrowed my grow room. LST it as much as I can, but at the end, I had to give up and cut her down.

9) Conclusion Indy pheno performs fine, but sat pheno got out of my hands even 12/12 from seed.

Typical of a sativa. Most are from equatorial regions so they are used to getting 12 hours or less. You're going to find that a hybrid that leans a bit towards sativa but not too much does very well & is easy to manage under 12/12 from seeds

Yes, that is exactly the reason I tried straight to 12/12 with this strain. Because last time had height problems even with indy pheno when I gave some veg time.

This is a great thread. I like the fact that I won't be restricted to just autoflowering strains. This is my 2nd grow and was wondering if it is possible to clone using 12/12 lighting method? If so; when is the best time to take cuttings? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys i was super happy when i found this page because i was going to go with auto flowers until i heard about this. But i still have so many questions. From what i heard this 12/12 from seed method doesnt speed it up that much i meen it seems like from what ive been seeing its still takeing people like 100 or more days to harvest from seed?!? Also from what i have gathered is that strains like Afghan,Kush strains,Northern light,top 44 bud, durbanpoisen,and seems like the list goes on that these are the main fast budding strains... but which of these is truely the best? also what i want to do is Grow from seed for about 2 or 3 weeks then flower from what i understand it takes about 25 days to show sex anyway when done 12/12 from seed so i feel like i could mature the plant faster buy giveing it the first two or three weeks in 18/6, will this work? will this stress it and possibly turn it hermi? is it Go 12/12 from seed or wait a full month and a half from veg? or is there an imbetween!?! please guys these are things i really need to know, i would really love to grow and harvest some dank in like a 70 day timeperiod is it possible or not? ill be useing a 400 hps and i dont mind only getting like 20- or 30 G's a plant i just really want the quickest nugs... without haveing to resort to auto flowers which apaprtantly arent as potent , PEACE guys and thanks

around 70 days - possible but i would aim around 80-85.
imho if u set like a week of veg - its no more 12/12 from seeds.
Dont want act like im dont know who - but if youre lookin for something fast/big/nice
for your first time 12/12 search for pure old skunk genetics (notice some skunks are mixed with many varieties).
and my update:

not best photos - had only 3 minutes to take them (before my sweets go sleep),
anyway i think second week of flo has began...(i wont say i have flipped them )

i've read quite a bit, thought not all, of this thread. i didn't happen to come across anyone mentioning potency.

I've read that clones and more mature plants produce higher amounts of THC. How does your 12/12 from seed compare with your veg and flower grows?

ogenko, 1212 on clones is okay as long as ya got decent root........let indicadoms get at least 4-5" high and you should get a rel. height to 1212seed girls.......sat.doms induce looooower o'course

Who is getting more then 2 ounces a plant on 12 12? I'm pretty sure I'll have one plant that puts up about 3 once done. Very Sativa with HUGE buds everywhere.I'll get some pics to post soon enough.

Ive got one dutch passion dolce vita in soil (flowering time claimed 8 - 9 weeks) thats been vegged for over a month and 3 northern lights (7 - 8 weeks) that have been in veg for under a week, 2 in hydro one in soil. Say i switched 12/12 now im wondering would they finish at about the same time or would the practically 12/12 from seed NL´s take much longer.

So basically im just wondering how long the NLs will take to mature (start flowering). As in, is it more benficial to veg for abit longer untill they mature or 12/12 and still have them "veg" untill theyre mature?

Im finding it hard to explain myself, but lets say i had a comparison with a NL that had been vegged for abit longer, would it start flowering faster once switched to 12/12 than one vegged for only 3 days? Meaning is it worth that extra veg time to get some more foliage and bud sites and still have the plant finish at about the same time, i dont know?

yield per plant is not really limited i believe . Some my best yielding plants, 12/12 from the start:
