I got the Ice and 2 of the Skunkman seedlings into 1gallon pots today. Need more dirt and will get the other 3 done soon.

A few bud shots. They are all in the same dirt and on full strength maxibloom. This first plant has given me trouble since the minute it went into flower. Those deficient leaves won't pull off easily so I just leave them for now... I think I was underfeeding badly until just recently.

This one here is ugly too. All yellowed out, bud is airy, and it has been in flower for the longest of any.

Here is Mrs Twisty leaves. Her leaves have been like for for weeks and i've tried a lot of flushing and PH'ing with her. Oh well it's still growing...

I woke up this morning and found the closet still dark and heard a weird buzzing noise.

Blown bulb..

Went with Hortilux this time, much more pricey, hope it works out.

Next time I'm at the hydro store I can replace the burnt bulb for free and have that for backup.

All is well again, used the backup 400w hps while I made the roadtrip to the store.

Skunkman Mix plants look like this

Ice Female. I think I am going to put her in a big container and scrog her using about half my footprint when it is her turn to flower.

Newest female to join us, she's looking mostly indica

These are my clones that were put straight into 12/12 after rooting. The mother was untested, and I am finding out she was apparently a major stretcher, look at them go in those little pots.

The clones have to been long flowering sativas

way overpriced bulb, i tried to give u the heads up about 4 pages ago on avoiding theese. The normal hps maxes in yellow then orange n red. theese hortilux max in green first then yellow, orange then red n finally blue. my point is your paying mostly for green light, and very little blue, u could of got a brand new 1000hps for 35 dollars and thrown some blue cfls in at inches from your plants and had more blue light and kept all your thousand in the yellow orange red spectrum were it does the most good and not the useless green and saved a hundred bucks, nobody reads light charts i guess, if that light is 15 percent of your watts by the time it goes two feet to reach your plants the lumens can be matched or beaten with a few 25watt 6400k cfl from rite aid with the added advantage of early branch development as u can place them inbetween plants were due to fan leaf shade the over head hps cant get to. just some two cents, the mark up on fancy grow bulbs is outrageous, for the cost of that bulb u could of orderd a brand new magnetic 400hps kit.

I'm content with what I have. This is personal smoke, 1000watts. There is no worry for squeezing maximum effeciency and yields. And I sure as hell am not about to start throwing CFL's in beside my HPS at this point. I got the 1000 so I did NOT have to use more CFL's.

If this Hortilux bulb lasts more then a week, it was worth the cost. I have a real fulltime job, and taking a day to drive to the closest hydro store costs more then any bulb on the market. Water under the bridge, I'm using it, and will replace the blown one for a backup. I don't need another 400w hps kit, I already have one that only has 1 run on it.

What I need to do is learn how to keep my babies healthy the duration of flower, haha.

Thanks CG :)

Here is my Female Seeds Ice still in veg. She is starting to look proper with side branching starting. I am strongly considering putting her into a bigger container soon and making a modular scrog for her when it is her time to flower. Which will probably not be for 3 or 4 weeks.

Skunkman mix seedlings are not far behind the Ice

I just tossed the Ice plant into a 5gallon container to let those roots get big. I am going to make a scrog screen for this 1 plant and install it in another week or two. Then I will let it fill the screen before flipping it, which will not be until I harvest some plants in a few weeks. She is going to be the star of the show next round, with whichever Skunkman plants sex out female joining her.

I started on the SCROG screen construction. I went with PVC for ease of use, and strength, plus it's white and non-porous.

The legs are 12inches high right now. The elbows on the bottom legs will form the legs that anchor inside a 5gallon bucket. I will finish this later today and get pics up fitted to a bucket.

The screen will be almost 2x2 when done, designed for 1 plant in a 5gallon container. I hope this goes as well as i envision.

This should do the trick ! It's 20x22 with 11inches from bucket top to the screen.

So my ICE plant is only about 7 inches, so I have prob atleast a week before I install the scrog.

Thanks redspaghetti :)

Good to see you here killerweed, the Ice Scrog should be a serious one in a few more weeks when she is bigger. This 5gal bucket, strings, pvc pipes and fittings all cost just under 10$. I think this setup should yield well, im going to put it in the center right under the hood when it's flower time.

Thanks for dropping by everyone :) I am glad you guys like the SCROG ! I'm pretty anxious to see what/how it performs being my first scrog. I am expecting big things.

No more pics until next tues/wed. The old lady went out of town and took the cam.

just so u know, some cheap string n a piece of duck tape would allow u to lst your plants just as good if not better and you wouldnt develop a room filled with pvc pipe clutter, i prefer to string them, n duck it to the side of the container, i hate when rooms start off roomy n shrink from racks/tables/nets/scrog pips. but its gonna be kick ass to see mg in 5 galls under a 1000, cant wait to see what u pull.

I have found, with LST, that the plant overhangs the container anyways, so I might aswell try a scrog. Always trying something new. Thanks for droppin by.

Btw. Speaking of LST. My camera isn't here for a week, but I have started LST on the Skunkman seedlings. They will be LST'ed, the ICE scrogged. All good.
