Wow,,
This is a very interesting thread, and I am very interested in your method.
Can you tell me please, when do you "Lolipop" your plants.
I can see that you have bat sized buds and you reach a far greater yield then what I get.
Also do you also crop the tops of your plants?

Thanks for this great thread.

I do so right before I let them go to flowering.
I don't keep mothers anymore, I use the trimmed sections from Lollipoping for cuttings to start the next run. The strain I am running flowers in around 8 weeks. It takes the cuttings to root approx 2+ weeks, then I transplant them in to 16oz cups and let them sit there 'till there is room to plant the next run.

And no I don't crop the tops...

:wave:
PS: The grow you see in the pics was exactly 2 months old from the day I took the cuttings to the day they went in to flowering.

Why I like Rapid Rooters:

Why I like Rapid Rooters:

Because all one has to do is take the cutting and stick it in the RR.

Unlike with using a Aerocloner style rooter you don't have to deal with fluctuating PH, no slime build up, no leaks, no worry about power outages and using RR's is CHEEEEEAP!

Set and forget basically.

Not to mention easy planting, just make a little hole in to the medium and pop in the RR with the rooted cutting.
Unlike with rooted Aerocloner style cuttings where you have to be VERY careful not to damage the roots and sometimes have a transplanting shock as well.

Very nice grow Strainhunter, very clean and professional looking. That looks to be a yielder and lush growth too, what day are you on now? Take care 1

4 weeks and one day into flowering.

:bigeye:

This strain is THE shit!
:jump:
Don't know what the total yield will be...but it won't be little.

VEEEEEEEEERY vigorous and has taken off like greased lightning!

Maybe I should ask Weedbeat to rename it "Greased Lightning" LOL
;) ==> I like this idea :D

Zivilpolizist if you look close you will notice I trimmed down the flowering mothers.
==>Yes, I've realised that at my first look at the picture ;)
I'm really interested in this Strain - nice Idea to praise the strains like that ;) ^^ and if I don't get to grow this strain as a testgrower, I will buy this one too for sure ;)
:yay:

You have to know I'm a strain collecting seedjunkie too :biggrin::1help:

Haha no I am not it is just such a headache uploading them from where I am.
(I gotta wait for late night/early morning hours for satellite traffic to settle so the bandwith goes back up or this PC will time out. Or I have someone else do it for me but he has been lazy).

Yeah i saw you mention it earlier , just kidding hehe, But you know thats a serious tease with "holding back" those lovely pictures ;)
Things are looking lovely healthy and green :yes: Looks like they really exploding on you :yes:

Btw: What is RR?

I'm really interested in every cloning method there is, since my hydrocloner isn't reliable in giving me nice rooted cuttings in a couple of days anymore, because the piped water here is really hard... I've already mixed it with RO water to get down the ec, but it still takes too much time and too many cuttings die.

And atm I'm kind of f***ed, because in Germany you can't buy Rhizopon or Clonex anymore...

I also bought some Jiffys and some stuff just called "clon gel" for 20€ for 75ml... and this doesn't work at all.

So I've basically only rooted cuttings at hand, that survived my hydrocloner and some I put in Jiffys with Rhizopon which is expired since 2009 :moon:

At the local headshop I've seen some bottles of "Root !t - Gel 4 Plugs" - but I won't buy it there, because the sell it for 22€ a bottle

I've just ordered two bottles for 11€ from GB, and I think the shipping costs from GB to GER won't be 11€, and even if I'm paying more: Nevermind, at least I've got two bottles and didn't pay this shameless price

have a nice day :tiphat:

Rapid Rooters.
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=1784575

I prefer Clonex over Roottech, though.

But really, when you get an aero-cloner going and learn how to use them, temps, nutes, pH, ect.
They are the shit. I like RR, started with them, but misting nozzles are set and forget, plus no need for a humidity dome.
Plus you can build them cheap.

On second thought I should have done my soil clones in RR, instead of aero, there was some transplant shock. But otherwise it is all hydro for me, so not having the 'mating' problem between waterlogging the cloning cube when put in the Hydroton, is nice. Plus the last run I did, those that were aero-cloned where more vigorous in my Hydroton ebb and flow. I think because they didn't have the cloning cube to depend on at first?

Now those bubble cloners that the Oregonians are playing with look, fricken schweet!

@Polizei
If you can get a hold of Bio Green Clean (Made in the USA, Ward, CO), it is the shit! I use it to clean everything, except floors and windows.
I run that shit through my system for 24 hours (no clones), rinse, fill and clone.
The trick I have learned with mine is high temps to spring roots (78deg+), lower temps when roots sprout to avoid pythium. I also add 35% H2O2 at 3ml gal.

@zivi
there's one shop (very famous, located in Berlin ;) ) who still sells clonex...however i wouldn't recommend to use it cause its carcinogenic....RR=Spongepot..
