when did I say anything about greedy growers

If I was truly SICK or DISABLED... I would think you're worse than a thief if you tried to charge me more than $10 an hour to do what I _can_ do for myself right now...

Yea. Thats capitalism. I didn't realize all you growers were capitalist whores.

when did you ever say anything 'bout greedy growers

all I stated was that growing weed is no more complicated than growing tomatos and the ONLY reason you get off charging what you charge is its black market status.

you can keep trying to turn this into something else if you want, but ill maintain my position
I have a question for the person who seems to know everything,if it so easy "anyone can do it". Why cant you grow enough so that you would have an overage to bring to the clubs/collectives.
Don't give the no space excuse. I live in a 10x10 and run 15 sq ft veg and 15 sq ft flower.
While you come up with excuses,I'm heading to the club with a couple of qps.

Fuck the clubs. Ship that bud to the Northeast. Regs, Mids, Dank, Seedy bud, quality is irrelevant. It all sells itself here.

I think tol deserves a break. He's right, the black market has an influence on sale price. Don't take it personal if you're in a niche market and taking advantage of the situation. Nobody expects growers to pretend they're risking less than the reality of bust, either economically or criminally.

But if and when mj is legalized, the comparison with tomatoes will be spot on. It won't be enough to be a good gardener, one will have to be a good businessman as well.

Some folks here react as if their own quality or work standards are lacking or suspect. All tol is saying is that the illegal market influences the price. One might be a better grower than the next 1000 but it's the market, then the quality.

Using tomatoes in this comparison is simply legal vs illegal. Growing tomatoes ain't any harder than growing weed. But the aspect renders comparisons of pounds to tons.

I hate to say it but those making a comfortable living now owe it to the black market more than grower skills and business acumen. Just wait until it's legalized, you'll see what I mean.

so you think growing top shelf medication is the exact same as growing tomatoes?

Let's see, "exact same" are your words. Apples and oranges ain't the same thing. But in the context I offered, they're the same. They're legal to buy, possess and sell.
even you know better..
Even I know you make your own argument.

That's what I said when I saw the token bag o larf in your journal. Oops I made it personal, something you're more than familiar doing yourself.

Yes, and it hurt your feelings. You're making your own argument.

I like your style, changing and omitting context to argue your point.

I don't care if you're the best grower on the planet, you'll see your profits dive when it's legalized. You've gots a niche market, that's it.

how much was an oz of AAA in CA in 1998?
how much is that same oz today?

are the laws the same in CA today or are they a teensey weensey bit more lax?

if the laws are more lax why is the price the same?

funny how the facts dont support your inverse relationship with legality theory..

again nice try but your just orally defecating.

as for "hurt feelings"

nope sorry it's an internet forum...
:blowbubbles:

BTW:
the "meds" in my gal aren't mine..
they were an example for a post many moons ago...
but hey you are AWESOME!!!
you caan tell quality from a blury pic 10' away?
why don't you have a job at a club as a buyer?

Perfect example. Legal changed to a teensey weensey bit more lax.

I'd say your feelings are hurt based on your personal comments.

that was for your benefit...
legal as in you can walk into a retail outlet and pay for marijuana take said marijuana hang it from your neck and go shake a cops hand...

thats pretty fucking legal...

and the price remains the same.

try again..
all you have is ad hominem.

YAWN

here ill post something for you

Health and Safety Code Section 11362.5
^^^^
google that.
mybe you will understand your proposed inverse relationship between legality and price is utter hogwash.

or you can continue to play ad hominem and semantics...

BTW:

I can see your logic. But according to the op, $1600 wholesale turns into 4x retail. Apparently, price is already being affected with less than nationwide legalization.

If and when it goes legal, dag's grower pride will be shared by more growers, more product and not necessarily more consumption. Dag still won't make tomato to weed comparisons but we'll have a legal vs legal situation. And that's a big price aspect.

oh well dont acknowledge the fact the price remains the same while the legality changes..

1/4 oz bags in florida (most draconian in the nation)
are $100.00
they are in cali too...

weird how that inverse relationship just dont seem to be there..

like i said you wont see a dramatic change in prices until the fed says its ok...

growers, (the large ones that can affect price) no matter what the local legalities are, are afraid of the federal agents the most...

Yes, you have. You're ignoring part of the argument and substituting your own teeny weeny split hair.

oh well dont acknowledge the fact the price remains the same while the legality changes..

I believe the aspect was legal, not legality changes. Making your own argument. That a boy, dag!:jump:

Lol, prices are as diverse as you're chosen context.

weird how that inverse relationship just dont seem to be there..

Because legalization hasn't taken place. Nice try though.
