I've been trying to come up with a cool name, and get away from the "OG" tag.
This strain has the best calyx to leaf ratio of anything I've ever had in my garden.
Wish we had smellavision for sure...

The smell is 100% OG, where the SSH male shined thru was in yield. This OGSSH is like OG on steroids. I used the same SSH male on 3 different females and the offspring was far improved over the mother. Smell on all 3 leaned more towards the moms, but all 3 got the large calyx's I assume came from the male and yield was greatly improved.

its funny to think an incredible male is much much more rare, IMO

I found it in 1 pack of seeds. SSH seed line is so diverse you just have to select the right one. I had a female SSH years ago that kicked ass, and I saved pics of its leaves and thats how I was able to identify it in male form even years later.
Sadly I didnt keep this male, but I made the crosses that I wanted to make and have a bunch of seeds so I guess its ok.
I used the same SSH male on a DJ Blueberry female and that cross came out killer too, way better than the BB mom.

I've been playing with this one over the last year. I've been trying to develope plants that are very easy to trim but still have very high potency and strong smell.
I almost lost the mom, she was roughed up in a bad way. Luckily I was able to revive her after about 4 months, from one single stem that was still alive when the rest of the plant was just about dead.

Here is on of the projects that came about from the original OGHz mom, it's OGHz x SD IBL. She is a heavy stinker, and very potent, not quite as pungent a flavor as the SD IBL. Here is a few pics from a few days before chop. Not quite as stinky as the OGHz mom but still rates about a 10 on the stink scale, less than a gram of dried bud is enough to stink the entire room up.

I wonder that would be the taste of Og cross with haze... Your pheno of OG SSH look very OG dominant, how about the Haze in the smoke ? Does it gives it a more sativa smoke ? And do you get some hazy flavours ?

Heheh...thanks for the compliment man, but admitedly I am not a master yet. Still learning new things every day. But I do dream big, and have been making seeds by the thousands so someday when I have a very large grow I can fill it up for FREE! With strains that are very easy to trim
Oddly enough the haze male I used was the anti-haze. I used it against blueberry and a Sour DxBubba Kush cross I had and all of the resulting offspring have been chunky as hell.
I'll throw up a full plant shot, this plant is actually pretty tall, and viney like a mofo. very much like the original OG mom I used in the initial cross, she's a floppy mess. I have another female from this batch I'll post pics tonight, she is very similar to this one.
Here is 2 OGHz x SD IBL ladies side by side. Both very similar, this pic is from a week or 2 ago, they've filled out a lot since then. I went and took pics last night and most of the branches are flopped over, makes it very hard to take bud shots.

OG is very dominant. In the first OGxSSH cross the flavor is very strong, it just coats your whole mouth with a sour funk. The stink is off the charts too, I only like to smoke it at night because it seriously stinks the whole house up. The haze really blew up the caylx size, it turned it into OG on steroids. The haze made everything it touched very chunky. The structure and bud shape is more reminiscent of OG, the potency could have also been increased by the haze as she is pretty strong. Not your typical haze high.
As for the OGHz x SDIBL not much haze influence there either, potency is thru the roof tho. It hits you like a frying pan over the head. The first few times I smoked it I was taken out of reality for a few hours then brought back after the ride was over. Doesnt take much either, 2 puffs and I was already comfortably high.
