Good friend wants to sell me used areoflo 60 for $575....I really want to make the purchase. However I need some help from you guys. Can I pull a yield of 1oz per 3" net pot in that system? i would like to run 2x600's and1000hps.... Is my yield expections reasonable. If it's bullshit just be honest with me... thanks for any advice. Strains I have for the system...white russian,Aurora indica and querkle...maybe sensi star...

they key is a solid veg...you cant just plug a smal clone 4-6" like ebb and flow...i just sold my 20 aero...if your going to go aero just be prepared to get solid clone stock 8" or so but most importantly madd root system..the aero systems misters are not the best (imo) so they need large root base to get the water where it needs to go...once established the system is easy just check pump daily and top res...just my 2 cents

ah a aeroflo 60 is a fun item i still pull mine out from time to time . can you pull a ozer off it andswer is deffinatly yes . you can do alot with that thing it can grow some monsterous sized plants actually if you stagger the growing chambers out from both sides the thing is like 11 feet long so you can expand into a bigger grow with it or just keep it small with all the growing chambers on one side . sixes cover it pretty well but i use 1kers nowdays when its compact or staggered out into a larger grow . one thing ive noticed is if you run c02 do regular rez changes since the rez will be inside the grow itll pick up that c02 and mess up your ph after a wile . oh yeah having well rooted cuts to go in deffinatly helps but you can do small freshly rooted cuttings even seeds in it just pull the tubes up that control the water level in the growing chamber and use it like a swc wile they root up then lower the tubes and run it nft style . witch is another thing i love bout this thing so versitile bein able to do a shallow water culture or a nft or mod it into a drip system or a truer version of areophonics . and its ability to do a smaller 1200 watt grow or something twice or even more in size

moses got it right.....veg time is critical. Ive used 3 inch nets pots and turned flowers @ 12-18 inches and got 1.5-2 zips per. i found it to be like this: less medium to deal with, more water issues to deal with..
Hey guys thanks a lot for the advice....I had always thought that you couldn't veg that long due to the root chamber being small.....a lot of people said that you should flip the switch straight from clone to flower..
