Where do you buy these lights?

I was just wondering where to get something like this? I read somewhere that its cheaper to buy a ballast kit or something but a 1000w runs about 150 without the bulb? Can someone help me. Thanks.

that looks like it's just his cord...a mogul socket hung from the ceiling. I'm sure he has a ballast off to the side you're not seeing. you should be able to find a ballast kit for under 100$ I'd think. try 1000bulbs or advancedtechlighting.

Make sure you're comfortable with wiring up a ballast kit yourself before you purchase it.

Either way you slice it, you're going to need a ballast.

Yes that's a 600w lumatek w hortilux bulb. The cord was originally in a hydrofarm reflector so it had a 90 degree bend.
