^ every toker should know of this method. Ive been smoking for 5+ years and ive only heard of this now; ive never even thought of it :O hehe a nail through a bud.. a self smoking bud.. genius.. I think this would be a pretty cool way for those Smoke Reporters to gauge their strains on. I can imagine scraggly sativa weed to have a different texture compared to an indica etc, not to mention youll probably get the purest taste of the weed through this method
never ever tried this, would like to see some pics. sounds noble but id rather just roll up 3 swishers out of that same nug and get blunted all night.

Here's a method I use sometimes - a joint rolled with only calyxes
use nail manicuring scissors with thin pointy blades and carefully separate only the calyxes from the leaf and stem and roll into a small to medium sized single paper joint.
then dry sift whats leftover

awesome info ganj! the hypochondriac in me wants to warn that some nails have a oil residue from manufacturing molds that should be cleaned with rubbing alcohol if the nail smells like motor oil.

I washed the nail with organic earth friendly dish washing liquid beforehand. Glad you thought it was cool. Even though it's just a way of smoking I was freaking out excited when someone first showed me. Pot smokers may make up some of the coolest and also some of the least cool people in the world. Whoever thought of this first was definitely one of the coolest.

I just did the coolest thing ever. I'm out of town visiting family. I'm the last one up and wanted to smoke. I keep an old bong here but it's gross. So i went to the basement and took 2 bong hits. Then I ate some food. Then I start feel creative and wanted to write music. I like to get blazed before writing. I'm upstairs and I don't want to make noise and wake anyone up by going back to the bong. So, I take a nugget and break of a small piece from the bottom node, the size of my fingernail maybe two tenths of a gram tops. I look down at the night table and see a?

I take my tiny nug and use the toothpick instead of a nail. It works awesome. I'm so high right now and can still taste the strawberries. Best of all I took picture on my phone like a stoner. At some point tomorrow I'll try to get them from my phone to post them hear. It's awesome. It was like a Mcgyiver moment for sure. And I stank up the whole house, someone just woke up and went downstairs, wupps. Cool, i'll try to show pics at somepoint, need to write an ill song.

I just did it again. Worked awesome. From now on I'm bringing a toothpick everywhere I go. Very high now! Back to writing.
