We are working with the dogs over here. We have chem 91, OG Kush, Headband, LA conf, Sour Diesel etc. I just ran a set of wild ass hazes, collected pollen from 11 varieties, and we have seeds. Males like Mango Haze, Nevilles Haze, panama, golden tiger, double thai, greenhaze/thai, vietnamblack/Thai. etc.

54 crosses completed so far this year. Plants are hanging now

SFV is hard to cash crop, you gotta top the shit out her and do a little training and definately need a trellis, and she doesnt like high ppm nutes and burns easy....but ive only been growing her a few years and have been able to lock her in after 3 or 4 harvests......for personal smoke its the best. and i keep getting more yeild after each harvest....only shit that still gets top dollar around my ways...SFV is like taking the fastlane to elite genetics... because im cropping better nugs than most of my buddies who have more years under their belt...

OG Kush is still by far the most sought after strain on the street. Its one of the only strains that doesnt get lowballed even during the most extreme 2010 flood of cali buds we ever saw. while most times you gotta put on a salesman speech to move regular crops like purple and blue dream, the OG kush needs no talk. as soon as they open the bag or jar its done, they want to buy it and will pay the asking price.

i hear you...there's just something about it i don't really care for..i can't quite pinpoint it.at first i thought maybe it was the taste (have had better tasting lemon in some other strains, then maybe the way the buzz lingered in my head (almost dirty, to me)..not quite sure what it is..think maybe it was becuz had it been so built up as the end all be all of weed..

hey i agree Weed Luver the SFV OG kush does have a very strong almost dumbfounding high....definately not something to smoke alot of during the day, whenever that happens i end up laying on my couch looking like the stereotype stoner...so high that i cant even turn on the xbox to play anything, the only thing you feel like doing is eating a ton of food and then sleeping.. its pain medication weed good for nightcap....

there are different lemon tastes, for example the super lemon haze, jack herer, etc but thats a different taste for sure, more haze and citrus while the SFV is lemon mint fuel

for day smoking i try to keep it sativa smoking on jack herer and sour jack at the moment, but i like to sneak an SFV bong hit in there to just get that quick taste..

We call it "Green Out". You have to be careful when you bong hit it. I drop quickly to a squawt stance when I feel it coming on. Otherwise, You may just fall in an unconcious state. I think You can get the chem 91 to go to the mid 30s in THC, the OG is probably 30%, the Headband is close to that. The only time it does a dirty high or gives a headache to me is when someone has used chemical ferts. I just hit them hard with organics.
The LA conf captures OGs essence. I have a LA mother that is my strongest smoke. It has a sweet afghan flavor with a lemon kick and a earthy backbone.

I have a big "lock lock" box full of choice headband buds. Open the thing up and people just drool. Someone asked a family member to see if I could be talked into taking 80 bucks for a quarter zip. Thats alot of money where everyone and his brother grows.

i do run floranova which has both chem and org ferts in it...makes sense with what you said DP..never got try chem91 or any other og/chem for that matter..i lucked into this cut..one day i hope..
you med state boys sure are lucky, here in tha south it's a whole different world when it come to weed..

Hmmmm....
I disagree.
SFV cash crops fabulously,with proper focus.
Afom cash crops SFV with superb g/watt/m2 yields.
SFV needs training and a bit of pruning,and LOTS of DIRECT light,then she yields absolutely huge.
A trellis/cage is definitely needed for max results.
I feed @ 1450ppm at SFV when using Kool Bloom and
SFV never reacts poorly,just swells up with baby-leg-sized colas.
SFV is misunderstood. With a little focus,training and love she's a LOT easier to dial in and grow/cash crop with than many people think-And much stronger than 99.999% of the pot smokers out there are used to,as well.
I love SFV OG Kush,it's a (or maybe "The") "benchmark" OG Kush,to be sure.

Several years ago I sent a few Destroyer x Destroyer vintage 03 beans that I made with a male of the Meao phenotype (still alive,8 years old) and a lanky elegant female to my good friend Bacchus
The destroyer mom threw a few bananas after 2 or 3 days of freeze (cold night temps)
Bacchus had a Destroyer n+1 girl and some ECSD in the same grow and she threw a few bananas with very low night temps ...very little pollen was released...he found less than 10 seeds in her and gifted me 4
I planted them..3 came up..all females...2 were very nice and the 3rd was a Meao Thai/Viet pheno that produced high octane hydrocarbons...pure Gasoil lol the stinkiest buds I´ve ever grown and she was KIller...too strong for me ...I passed the cuts on to a good friend that lost the last mom in existence a couple years ago (stupid accident)
One of the cuts threw a very few nanners after several cold nights and pollinated herself...she produced less than 10 seeds LOL...the S1s were very nice...and didn´t hermie but only 2 out of 8 were fuel-ish I don´t know if he keeps clones I have to ask
