this is my first time running bc ballasts. the kcc cant be choosers as we get what we are given sometimes and are thankful for that. i notice we can never progress when we cling to senility. a grower only becomes a master once he sheds his growers ego (identity) and stops telling himself hes the best and stops telling others with different ways they are wrong. growers are always their own enemies, especially when partnerships are struck that trainwreck. i do this system becuase its the most efficient way ive ever grown, not becuase im the best grower and i make the system work becuase of me. ive had them fired now a couple times with no issues.

i love the enlightened philosophy you KCC guys seem to live by. very refreshing. ego is the main blockage in most people's quest for a more perfect self. only once you shed your ego can you be comfortable even being yourself, let alone projecting yourself out into the world of other people.

same goes with producing quality medicine. only once shortcomings are accepted and the grower ego is dropped, can a grower truly reach their full potential.

wasnt calling u out, was just stating that digi ballasts tend to burn out bulbs and turn off and on like x-mas lights. know of a few wholesalers that have been stuck with skids of junky chinese ballast and will end up scrapping them...

we never use hortilux with digis. they arent designed for them, unless they or the bulbs have been refined. horties are very sensitive, and digis burn hotter and therefore brighter then core and coil, unless they are modified with larger caps, and even then phillips or sylvania are more then trusted with the bulbs.

everything is a ying and yang. for lighter product no noise and brighter light you get potential rf interference, replacing bulbs more often , d

being closed minded, closed eared, non accountable for their acts, finger pointing, making assumptions, talking to themselves to much and believing their inner talk, telling everyone they are the best and what they use is the best becuase they use them and not using them just becuase they are the best thing to use, never doing the best they can, only saying things in defense of self image, never admitting they dont know anything or that they can and do make mistakes, always blaming equipment or others for losses or low quality and last but not least taking every single last thing personally. this is 99% of all growers i meet with 1-5 years experience, with always 1% with an exception to the rule. the worst is believeing things that random people say and being sceptical of someone with the right things being said.
ive taken on many apprentices, from all walks of lifes and all kinds of experience and inexperience, even some whom never grown in their lives to people whom claim theyve grown their whole lives. the thing they always neglect to be aware of is their growers ego, and how illusory it is ......

ive grown the best meds of the highest quality with old used equipment and with brand new equipment and had failures from both arenas as well.
in the end there are growers that can finish a crop with issues, and growers that give up and turn their backs on a problem grow because they think they wont or dont "make" anything for a reward. i never lose because i always learn, even if money or material or meds are "lost", mm

dude, i love outdoor. but i am a snob and only like burning my own or an apprentices. sunlight and the elements bring out different terpenes so smell and effect can be night and day for in vs out. the key is its gotta be organic and gotta be sunny. if neither are there, not gona be that great.

just remember most people bash those whom they dont understand or have never done which is 99% of the time hand in hand.

ps try being a hydro guy in bc lol where 99% of the time dirt is used. i deal with alot of manufacturers direct in the u.s becuase there is no demand for hydroponic necccesities i have in bc, mm

so u grow without ego, but cop 1 when smoking ? lol... agree about the organic od, but sometimes the plants that i hit with a high quality synthetic bloom formula at the right time are always better looking than the au natural 1's. but thats only looks and any true smoker knows looks aint everything

lol essentially the ego is an artaficial identity that we uphold by telling ourselves we are this or we are that over and over and over. i dont like smoking meds that char my throat and lungs, as its not medical grade marijuana. mgm is meds you can smoke an ounce a day of and wake up feeling like nothing has been smoked. i find 99% of the time when i smoke other meds, outside of the collectives', it makes me feel worse not better. i take growing gravley serious, as all the grows i help out on relfect it in quality.

these are the main reasons: too much phosphorous, too much chem nutes, no flush, residue of pesticides, no heart in the grow or grower, monetary crop with no regard for healing properties.

admitting im a snob is way different then being one and not lol thats egocentricity, mm

when you can become aware of the fact you have self importance, and all the drama it brings into ones life, and do anything you can to get rid of it in a practical healing way, that is called "awareness".

to act with no volition or intent on behalf of oneself and be at the whim of the chatter in your mind is ego.

i knowingly avoid other meds to protect myself in a snobbish manner is me behaving in a very cognizant manner. not becuase i think my meds are better , or everyone elses isnt mgm, but becuase feeling good is all that matters to me, and finding the 1% thats mgm isnt worth the trial and error. and i mean holistic, longlasting feeling good, not buy a suv to feel good about myself for a week or month or so, then need to buy more to fullfill the bottomless egocentirc pit of material longing, mm

Beautiful setup man, Im really thinking of switching from dwc to nft or some derivative thereof. I do have a few questions as far as your definition of mgm...which strains would you consider better for this purpose and worse speaking only from effects (medicinal effectiveness) standpoint? Ignoring the aspects of pest and mold resistance and sensitivity to extreme pH and overall yield, im curious which strains you personally have experienced the best medicinal effectiveness with. Also is it necessary to run the nutrients constantly or could it also be done on a regulated on/off cycle? obviously ppms would be different depending on how much time the roots spend in the solution...I dont know any advice or comments are appreciated.

all the strains i keep as moms from seed or elite cuts i get are mgm. i keep nothing in the stable that doesnt help my pain. my faves are kinds ive bred myself_ pain killer, purple pain killer, conkushion, bubble haze, med-man headband. i find strong hazes and afghanicas work the best for me and my condition. mgm does not leave one feeling like they have smoke toxicity from inhalation like they spent the night in a burning building.

the system is designrd to run 24/7. plants never break in the tables, always breathing always taking in needed nuts. depending on strain i peak from 1600-1800 ppm. its subject to the whole grow: strain, nutes, enviroment and grower, mm

i just made a whole wack of freebees actually. its been in r/d for the last 2 years, and ive dialed it in, its now ready to be launched. im just bust with builds and grows atm.

been really busy. looking for 2 sites for a couple depos.

ran my basement for 24 hours, had a minor leek for some reason, possible pin holes in the role of panda. this is designed for vapor barrier, but i will use panda if need be.

i just transplanted some conkushion, med man headband, and bubble haze into 3 inch rw with 1 inch rw. il take some pics soon. just grabbed 9 new ushio super hps. bright as the sun shines without the mh companion bulbs.

ps the system like d's with 15 plants per table takes no more then 70-75 days with lil guys prevegged in 3"rw for 2 weeks tops. i think my plants woll be more around the 90 day mark if i take them 10-11 weeks tops. the bh and mmhb with hydro gas and a good recipe be taken down 2 weeks early uoc

thanxs for the update,so how big aee these plants when finished? you have described the yields with this system to be around 2.5 per light now those are 1000s but ur using 600s is this correct,trying to figure how many lights plants for a 16x16 room and with what kind of yields we would be pulling in.
