this is really bad news ,,they said last year that the bigger volcano Bárdarbunga would erupt sometime after Eyjafjallajökul and would be a lot worse ,Bárdarbunga according to the report created the largest lava flow ever recorded and that it dwarfs Eyjafjallajökul ,god help us

well it looks like I'll be missing my first cup ever
I was planning on putting in an entry this year but due to the cold weather my crop won't be ready
and I can't justify the expense just to go for a party so it looks like I won't be coming

yeah it sucks, I've made a lot of good friends that come in for the cup
but I really can't justify the expense of flights and accommodation never mind just the expense of Amsterdam these days
last year I spent a small fortune, my only reason for coming this year was to enter as I'll not be part of the team running it
also as my crop schedule is running late, I'll harvest in early april and won't be able to start my next run till after the cup I'd loose about 3 weeks before I can get going again when I returned

I'd like to join he many voices that regret that you won't be able to make it to the Cup this year.

You made an excellent work last year, with minimal staff, and I couldn't but notice that you were probably the only one not floating high, but rather thinking about what would the next step be for things to work out It would have been great to have you there this year, if not to run things to join the fun

Sucks you can't make it OP, it sounds like you were due to sit one out and enjoy the cup on a different level.

Getting my passport and plane tickets first thing in the morning, 58 days and counting till I fly out! Now that it is getting closer I am getting excited. Been a long time since I have flown over the ocean, will be glad when that part is over lol
