 Greetings all.

A little sneak peek into the dresser tonight

I have rooted a flowering clone from fruit spirit - perfect for a Scrog.

I am going for a lower density of tops this time, so she will enter the flowering phase soon :jump:

This is my newly established SOG area :whee: The two in the back entered 12-12 a couple of days ago.

Gotta run :Bolt:

Good luck for this run :) What strains are the beauties on the left?
Nice idea btw, exactly what I planned :D. On one hand I don't wanna lose the variety of a SOG, on the other hand I LOVE to SCROG :D

Greetz,
Garuda.

Thx Garuda and stupidboy

On the left the strains are Purple-bud (NL x Haze) (with pink straw in the pot) and Fruit-spirit (WW x BB) (with pale green straw in the pot). I am looking forward to my second scrog, I hope that I have learned a few things from the first. This time I hope to fill the screen with 20 tops v.s. 40 tops last scrog.

If I ditch the scrog area I will be able to fit 12 SOG plants in there, depending on the results of this round this could be a future plan.

Cheers :smoke out:

Looking good! :)

Im not so good to english, so i'll keep it short and simple! :D

I havent read the whole thread, but how long do you keep them in vegetative growth from seed? Im guessing that it growes faster from seed than cuttling?

Looking forward to see you crops / hash! :)

EDIT:

Sorry, i can see that you already told "28 days vegetativ growth" Nice done Claus! :)

Looking really taste that bud! :D

EDIT: I can see alot of "clay pebbles", are you only using them on the top of the soil, or is there also some of this in the soil mix? :) I use myself a little soil and some clay pebbles, not too many, more soil than claypebbles, but it looks like you are using some more, is that better than less?

I myself growing my last soil grow, i think, and then i go hydro-ponic, i would guess, when you use soil, it's better to mix som good stuff by yourself rather than buying it to overprices?

I am growing in 100% coco. The clay pebbles you see on the top serves two purposes. It prevents the water from evaporating out of the coco too quickly and it prevents the light from reaching the coco (I have been experiencing some sort of fungi growth on the surface on uncovered pots).
I also use a layer of the clay pebbles on the bottom of the pot. This acts as a reservoir wherethrough the coco drinks.

Charles Ingalls and heater76: nice to have you in :ying:

When I tended the garden today I decided that it was time for the scrog to enter bloom.

Considering my plans on a scrog of 20 tops I found a picture of the last scrog from the day it entered 12-12 for reference.

Now I am off to watch the grass grow :smoker:

SOG and SCROG, you are using SOG only, or have you also som SCROG plants? :) Just trying not to get confused! :D

EDIT: Ahh, you have both, then i understand! :D

It's looking good! :) It looks like thay take over even when you dont have so many tops, bu isent it better with more tops? :)

More tops tend to lead to a larger harvest. But when growing in a confined space a large amount of tops would shade each other, or so my theory goes :) In reference my last Scrog had 40+ tops :tiphat:.

MindGrenade and #1Cheese nice to have you guys around :)

Your SOG-area is working out very nicely :) Do you adjust their height to keep the distance to the lights?

Greetz,
Garuda.

Thanks Garuda. :)
I raise and lower the plants to keep them close to the light. But this run I have underestimated the stretch of the clones, so now i am bending them to keep them away from the lights. It is a bit of a hassle and not in the spirit of a SOG :) Nevertheless they look beautiful.
