Your not grasping the point. There are two type of growers, one sets up and is happy for the rest of his life. The other learns and progresses. Do you think professional organic farmers like Clakamas Coot are born with their knowledge and skills. How 'bout web surfing, do you think you can get to the top reading tweets.Guess again,it takes effort, focus and determination. So,if your idea of success is a couple of lights in the basement,I won't hitch my wagon to your star

It seems like you have an inaccurate perception of what the cannabis industry is today in the United States. Here is what it isn't: some psuedo-hippy sub-culture with dreadlocks aplenty and interesting conversations about philosophy and sustainable gardening whilst stoned. Nor is it an industry requiring lots of reliable "green thumbs" for assistance. Have you seen some of the commercial grows here and elsewhere? A few are brilliant. Most are the embodiment of inefficiency, seemingly put together by a person teetering on the cusp of mental retardation.

The top-tier money makers of this industry might as well be the banking industry, insofar as skills and knowledge required; it's mostly gangsters and wealthy-ish dudes who had some money to invest in a grow op/legal fees trying to make a quick buck before it becomes legalized and the gravy train slows down (or maybe even ends).

And of course, for the 10 dollar an hour bud tender stuff, that goes to family, friends, and sexy young girls with bad fathers and no gag reflex.:tiphat:

It's just another job in capitalism bro. The best lifestyle for a non-connected, non-wealthy young guy is gardening in your apartment, then house, and working your way up the grow ladder.

Or a 9-5 in something else.

Best of luck.

Rick: A person has to start somewhere. And I learned a heck of a lot before I ventured out of the basement and onto the prairie with guerilla grows.

But connections are everything, imo. The skills I've developed over the years have earned me an offer to sit on a grow in NorCal this season.

Good luck, mon.

Right in your own bedroom my friend.
The f1auto grow show.

After giving this some thought,

This is undoubdetly the best option, I mean what jobs other than bud tender and growers are there, and bud tender would be monotonous low wage job. and the growers would undoubtedly be very close to the owner of the growing establishment. not a job thats likely to be "advertised"

good info in this thread
