Maybe they were asking about his power records as part of an overall investigation rather than busting him based solely along the amount of watts he was using. The original poster must have had a security breach beyond just power use. He needs to find that hole in his security if he ever wants to grow again. Just my opinion though. His lawyer should be able to find out why he was subject to investigation.

Lawyer said it was a a person making a plea deal. I know who it was, was that so called friend im a 100%. I looked at the warrant and showed the lawyer, he said they basicly invented a reason to come from what they had. I am done growing for a while now, and sure am not doing it here ever again. Plus is I can have parties non stop here, none of my friends even knew I had this place.

I don't even post on mj forum the same state... call me crazy but im that paranoid. I don't trust firewalls, proxys, or any of that stuff.

do the person a solid and quit telling peps if this story ever gets tracked down to them they will no doubt be in the shit big time
years ago I gave a friend a heads up that the popo were on their way (he was a solid guy I thought) and when they showed up the ass says "I knew you were coming because Frank told me" needless to say suddenly I had problems and my wanting to help peps went out the window for a while so do the guy a favor and be quiet and thank your lucky stars that you were blessed.

This is the only place I said anything about it. I won't be saying a word in the real world.

Kinda rare that the cops would be so sloppy in obtaining the info it must have been a small town sort of thing. I did know of someone years ago who had a friend on the inside at the police station in dispatch and almost the same thing happened except it was a much smaller grow show and he got saved cause he used to date the girl. As others have said, please make sure you take care of that dude without putting him at risk because he changed your life with that phone call what a God send man.

You must have been noid as fuck for the next 48 hours waiting for them to bust in! I can't imagine that would suck knowing they were coming and having to move shit out in secret all worried and stressed.

Your next stop needs to be here in Cali or move to Colorado or something, a change of scenery would help ease your mind and risk level now that you are on the map for growing there locally.

There is some danger to this, however! That "friend" of your's better be careful. If the cops suspect someone dropped a dime, they can trace the phone activity prior to their arrival at your place. You may not be the only one he called, to warn about. So if they see a pattern going on, HE could be the one ending up in a cell, in the end.

If your'e still in contact with your "friend", make sure he knows that!
