i once used a 1/2 inch rubber poly hose hooked up to high pressure lines running from the house water supply in a topoff system i had w/float valve.

thats when i learned that not all hoses are capable of handling such psi....couple days later poly hose split open water everywhere lol. didnt find it for a few days either shoulda seen my water bill

last year i killed 9 plants....individually....within a week from dropping, stepping on, dropping shit onto, falling over....it was quite remarkable.

1. I once dropped a 4 foot two light fluorescent fixture across four of my mothers smashing them flat.

Eh not a fatal mistake, but I can never remember that I have sticky fly traps hanging until its stuck to my face. My fiance too, one time she got that shit in her hair and now she never wants to help me water.

here is a laugh for you,- i gave someone a carbon filter once so i went
around to his bit weeks later and into his room where i seen the carbon
filter sitting in the middle of the room on its own attached to nothing.
the young guy thought it would scrub the air just sitting there!

I had the bright idea a few weeks ago,to spray pyrythium spray in my veg closet with 30 2 foot plants with no ventilation.The next day ...Well most of the white flys were dead.And all the plants look like they they had been set on fire.Burnt crispy leaves,its gonna take them months to recover...

Not having a float valve installed on my R/O tank and forgetting that I'd left the water on.

Having a couple of ballasts sitting on the floor (brilliant, I know) which were ruined by said flood that ensued.

Funny thing is, that was the second flood...............I've since learned how to use float valves correctly.

** made mistake long ago of leaving blood & bone meal where the 5lb bags got wet & started to putrify over a couple of weeks....very bad smells started to "perfume" the area . Nothing like rotting , stinking , putrifying ground~up rendered cow bones & blood meal to keep your nostrils on their toes. That shit stays in the outside gardens & only EWC get anywhere near the ID mix ...

Did fry an entire room of vegging plants once, using some Ortho
petroleum based pesticide that smelled like it would kill a horse let alone a mite .
Nastiest shit ....newbie lesson never forgot .

ps: water & electricity too ...always avoid those two together, its always
shocking experience .
