Im back for another run and i decided to make this thread the permanent one for all my future grows.
you will be able to follow me growing some of the finest Auto strains available out there.. step by step..
I have a couple of grows under my belt, mostly outdoors and with early finishing strains dew to location and climate and that's how i found my way into the AF section....



Current Strains: Ak47 Mi5 Onyx Blue Himalayan

I'll add more later-

The setup is:
600w hps
dr120 tent
Soil medium
Hesi nutes

(except the 1st run that was started with 280w cfl)

thx man.. you can get them everywhere around here.. on the other hand It's impossible to find bulbs like the ones you got. try 1000bulbs.com they should have it.

Wow, this sounds promising, onyx and NYLD both are amazing strains, ive grown both and can tell ya anything you would like to know.. Both are robust and the smokes are both amazing...id say the NYLD is more heavy smoke and the onyx is more uplifting, but can be heavy as well...

Anyways, how soon will these be going under a 400watt hps? Im not sure where you are located, BUT is there any chance these will be going outdoors? or will they be finished under a 400watt hps?

ALSO, one more question.. once they sex, you plan on transplantting right? If so into how big of pots, for onyx 2-3 gallon pots... and NYLD i would recommend 2 gallon pots...

hi bro nice to see you here. My friend who grew these told me something similar so I'll shoot for that, Once they sex im planning to transplant them into bigger pots yea, im not sure how many there will be left, depending on what im left with,

this will be a seedrun so anything that doesn't look superior will go. Im not sure how big pots I have room for in there, but ill try to make them as big as possible at least really deep, im shooting for to have the 400w system along with the bigger tent within 3weeks~ so I'll probably stransplant them at that time once again to bigger pots!

This run will be indoors only, outdoor season around here starts at may, so the seeds will be used for that one.. you guys on icmag will be able to follow that one once i hit the outdoors, you'll see

What's your soil of choice?

Welcome bro... intresting, im really curious of the NYLD, heard alot of good stuff about them, Im using soil that's made for seedlings, bought it at one of the shops here, ph 6.0~ and its suposed to be really good to start the plants in, I'll probably use some soil with organic nutes in it once i transplant them during sexing. It was pretty airy and I used it last time, it doesn't get dry too quick. But next time i think im gonna go with a perlite/soil mix or even coco, or dwc? lol, im deff gonna try something new

I got like 10/19 above soil atm, hopefully rest will be up during this day/night

yeah that matraoska strain looks good but i dont think a 150 watt hps is gonna do it justice

im looking forward to this grow as both strains contain diesel and ill be interested to see which strain has the bigger yield

yeah you got a point there skotty, im pretty sure those pics of the plants that have been going around were grown under a 400w so..my point is that any decent auto will grow out awesome under those circumstances,, I am so happy to be growing something with diesel in it, really hopeing for diesel smells, I just looooove that!!

Always somehow bashing on something... my "soil growing" Or "150 watt hps"
Its going to do enough justice to give me 2-3 ounces of pure homegrown marijuana, thats all im after.. And the breeder only ran the strain under a 250watt light, and you were blown away by those results.. IF THE STRAIN IS GOOD, it will grow AND produce well under a 150watt light...A strain is going to look good, if the breeder did his homework... sure its not going to reach its full potential, but to say it wont do justice, thats a bit harsh...

The masakrator "white master" pictures going around were only grown with a 250watt HPS... He even said so in the show your auto pix thread

i wasnt bashing just stating facts, whats gonna produce better overall plants a 150 watt hps or a 250 watt hps + you have other plants taking up the light also, if your gonna showcase somebodys hard work then at least try and grow them to their full potential, autoflowers are already taking a bashing so some good grows are needed , just dont wanna see them go down the same route as your nyld

You always give me a good laugh skotty.. and if you watched my grow you would see that im about 15-20 days away from harvest so by the time the white masters will need the light THEY WILL.. And it doesnt take a green thumb to know marijuana will grow better under more light! And its funny how you bring up the one grow i admitted fault on, the NYLD, and FAILED to mention i did have one nearly 2 feet tall at the end...Im still the only one to fully show case the NYLD, i told cheesey i would start them asap and thats what i did. I stunted them, by leaving them in cups until like day 25, has NOTHING to do with lighting, whatsoever... The white masters have just broke soil, and are already in 2 gallons of soil..

I dont see why you found it necessary to point out my flaws(as you yourself have had MANY failures), i did so very obviously myself and talked to cheesey on many occasion and apologized for stunting them..even plan on doing another run of them soon...He didnt mind at all, he was very thankful, since i AM the only one that did a full grow and smoke report on the NYLD f2s...

AND i find it very smart of a breeder to have his worked showcased under a 250watt hps and 150, to show the small scale growers that their plant can still produce well.. Most breeders use heavy amounts of lighting and then show their strain off...
