looks like kief is winning, but we need more samples for statistical accuracy!

Excellent point! If you will send me your samples, I will subject them to panel testing and report the statistically significant results.

I will even test them first myself and give you my own personal perspective, because that is the kind of good hearted up front kind of guy that I am.

Sadly, I no longer experience euphoric highs because of my concentrate consumption and so I consider taste and how aggressively it attacks my cough reflex in my aging lungs.

Cannabis is an expectorant, so we should predict some coughing, but my aging lungs are looking for a respite, which is how I got into concentrates in the first place!

In my experience, next to actual bud, dry sieve retains the most flavor and will always be one of my favorites. The closest competitor being bubble, which is demonstrably more potent per unit volume, because the water treatment took away some of the inactive ingredients, but alas along with it some of the tasty volatiles.

That doesn't mean that it tastes bad or takes you places that dry sieve doesn't, just that it takes marginally more unrefined dry sieve and has its on taste profile.

Not unlike the chicken and egg question, with the question being whether you like chicken or eggs better.

Both are of course delightful, so which provocative woman of pulchritude do we choose to lie with us and encourage us to do our very best to savor their charms?

Unlike women of lesser esteem, Mary knows exactly who she is and is delightful, regardless of what form or position we chose to enjoy her charms in.

Hee, hee, hee, snicker, snark, snort, awhooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Beside the question of the quality of the dry sift being as clean as the best water sift, to be fair you need to compare the same clone, dry sifted, and water sifted, to the same level of THC. Then it is a fair test. And then you notice the dry sift is tastier/stronger. But most people have a tough time making dry sift that is as strong as water hash, think about haow many people you know that have made great water hash bubble, now how many have done the same with dry sift?

Sam! Everyone I know makes both dry sift and water hash. They are both very easy to make, and we test varieties. I have not seen higher THC (or other cannabiniods) in the dry sift versus the water hash, within variety. Is there any study of this... or is conjecture the best we have?

No published study that I know of, but my own unpublished work confirms what I said. The real problem is that most water hash is cleaner and higher THC then dry sift of the same variety, so the comparison is not fair. Find or make some dry sift and water hash made from the same clone with the same levels of THC then compare them.
Or listen to the folks and what they have to say about dry vs water sift.

I look forward with bait smell on my breath to reading your book brother Sam! It makes my back and scalp itch just thinking about it! When might you offer it on the market?

Can I send you the ostensible price of the book and have you share privately as a pre-publication?

Are there some facts contained within, that you might share with us prior to publication, on this forum dedicated to the subject and which you moderate?

As a technical author, I appreciate the need to control sharing prior to patent and market insertion, so am not asking for full disclosure of your deepest, most profound insights and secrets, only that you share technical data with the forum that you moderate.

TV, thanks for sharing! As you shared it freely, so will I, and will be picking up a sheet of 160 micron stainless to try out the upper end.

Ohmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have been working on a machine to do my secret method, no luck so far...
As for a book, maybe when I retire I will have time.
Until then people can do very short sifts to get the highest quality, or maybe use the dry ice method used by Delta-9-Labs, it is pretty close to pure.
