why doesnt this thread have its own sub-forum? like a glass forum with subs for that like bubs/ dry glass/ tubes etc.... or am i just not seeing it??
No they don't have one. I'm glad honestly. I wish they kept this as a sticky though. Now its going to be on the first few pages every time anyway.
This is a grow site, based on selling seeds, and when they add too much stuff it attracts the wrong folks. That sounds silly, but if you go to any glass forum and read around you too would not want them in our community.
We don't want to attract a group of people with no interest in growing, and who provide no revenue to the site. All the while wasting bandwidth making thousands of pretentious comments about China glass.
got a few new pieces today this Bubbler and a Inline Ash Catcher for the RooR

@^ how is 180$ around 100$ ? it's a nice piece but (IMO) to expensive for a straight tube. also the bottom(base) isn't that great, it breaks easily.
if I had around 100$ to spend on a bong I'd go with this one (or something similar)

I think that is garbage though lol... very breakable, and the bottom of the one I linked wont break if you arent dumb, no offense but the one you linked is way more prone to breaking.
I think 180 is around 100.
I also think the bongs that have angled stems like that are for tipping back, yet they have multiple stem arms that will become useless once its tipped back... and the ashcatcher just looks bulky... I just see it breaking.
Then you have some problems with math.
Geometry too? Its standing upright in the picture that was taken. Anyway there is no reason the bowl can't be at an angle.

I dont have a problem with math. To each his own. My point is that in the bong you posted, the downstem is designed for tipping, however the perc arms are NOT, this is conflicting and if you ask me the setup looks really dumb and klunky.
I am not saying the bowl cant be at an angle.
I'm not saying it's a masterpiece but try finding anything with: percolator, 7mm thick glass and an percolator ash-catcher for ~100$
(btw 180 is ~200)
My friend used to have a bong with a base like this one and it broke very quickly, also I own a piece with such base and I have to be very careful around it. IMO the best bases are flat, thick circle bases
