Sweet Tooth?

I was told these cuts were Sweet Tooth from an unnameable seed co.
But the guy seemed really shady.

Kinda citrusy resin on the stems

How can you tell? I see a lot of similarities to my BS2.2, but of course I just popped SOL beans for the first time, so I'm curious about what makes Swt distinctive.

i'm currently growing swt tooth indoors, and they look very similar to mine.

your just look a little more stretchy than mine, as far as internodal spacing..

You can just tell by the leafs, striping color, stem shapes and general stature. The citrus smell on the stems pretty much confirms it. Remember that Blue Sat 2.2 is half Swt hence the resemblance but the Blue Sat has thinner leaves usually and more BB influence, more dark purple stems. I would bet my finest nugs that is Sweet Tooth from SOL based genetics, even if it is several generations down the line but it's still the same strain and you should get some nice buds the stretchy ones flower out nicely. Enjoy! :canabis:

Hello,

A few months back I popped a Gypsy Nirvana Divine Megamix 10 pack of seeds. They were a mix of sorts, if I remember correctly, 7 strains in total with Sweet Tooth #3 from SOL and a Zamal x White Widow hybrid in there, and others I cannot remember. I got these two as the best females from the pack, I think. Not a good germ rate, however. But they were old seeds.

The pictures remind me of this plant. Although it wouldn't branch a lot, all the buds were the hardest, frostiest and fattest I have ever seen. Due circumstances unseen, I managed somehow to pull off some grams but it did not perform well right next to this zamalwidow thing, but I have a cutting of it, vegging as a mother, hopefully next round I have a system full of it.. I also think this pheno I have is the stretchy pheno SOTF talk about.. Takes a long time to grow though, pretty slow stuff... The toke is, at least.. ;D

I just wanna ask, should one top Sweet Tooth #3 (like a few toppings early in veg), in order to obtain larger yields? :)

I've never grown Sweet Tooth (soon, I hope!!!), but I can point out some stuff I've read about Sweet Tooth #4...

If you look in the passive plant killer thread, the guy (delta9nxs) is running Swt#4, and uses lucas pruning (which includes topping) on his plants, and gets some pretty impressive yields (12-16 oz per plant) in his vert setup.

looks like a sweet tooth #3 to me, the leaf and stemstructure is spot on from what i've seen (grown).

Topping out to 4, 6, or even 8 main tops will definitely help increase yield and decrease chances of mold. Trim all the lower stuff off to focus the growth on only the top most buds this also helps with air circulation under and around the plants during flowering when it's most important. :canabis:

plant stem structure and slight purpling stripes are spot on to my swt tooth. kind of a unique look that i'm surprised i can spot seemingly easily.

So, does anyone have any advice on topping/fiming these little sweethearts?
They are really bushy/branchy already. Also, their growth rate is phenomenal.
Is this normal for Sweet Tooth #3?
Thanks!

Top them as much as you want really just don't do it right before flowering make sure they have a chance to grow back out before onset so you do not hurt your yield and bud building stretch. If they are healthy they should grow like crazy once well established. ;)

Updated pics?

Hey SOTF420 I remember you saying that sweettooth seeds were going to be out again. Any update on sweettooth availability in seed form?
