I'm hoping Wilkinson's has Vitax Liquid Seaweed in again this year, it's usually 1.99 for 500ml and is just as good as Maxicrop or Alg-A-Mic that is much more expensive. You can buy powdered seaweed extract on ebay cheap, works out a lot cheaper than the liquid stuff, I've been using that for a couple of years, works the same.
Cheapest I've seen is about £4 on eBay for the 500ml

To be honest it's 2-3 years since I bought the Vitax at wilkos but they had it for about 4 years on the run before that, not noticed if they had it last couple of years. I was in the local garden centre today and 500ml Maxicrop was 3.99 I think, I did actually pick up a litre of the green Maxicrop that is the seaweed extract puls all purpose 6:6:6 ferts, that was 5.99 a litre, didn't buy it but read the label, at that price it is probably a decent alternative for the soil growers, I think it's always good to try and get as much of the stuff you can at the garden centre instead of the hydro store as I never think hydro stores are the safest place to visit with police and thieves following people as you hear about. I had one good find today, they had Phostrogen Safer's Organic Insecticide 500ml sprayers in the clearance bin, 3 for a quid so I bought all 12, it's Safer's Soap and kills mites and thrips and can be used in flower. I won't use it in the spray bottles, I'll pour em out into my electric powered sprayer. 4 litres for 4 quid and I need to spray my flowering plants as there are still some mites lurking. I got four packets of yellow sticky traps for 50p each too, 8 in a pack and they are the big 8 inch by 4 inch ones. I like to keep a couple hanging up although I've not seen anything stuck to them for nearly a year, they useually only tell me when I've got gnats, I've never seen anything other than gnats of a housefly stuck to em. They're 89p each in the hydro store FFS!

Hey greenfingaz, what's this plant? Looks really nice with those large calyxes and lime green colour, looks like a sat dom that would be my cup of tea.

The Kentish is like a Jamaican OG Kush, it stretches a lot like OG and has small but rockhard buds. The calyxes are a bit larger than the Abusive OG and it's a little more resin too. Potency is very strong and the taste is sublime imo, I had it tasting like milk chocolate once when I really hit her hard with the molasses and jaggery. It has to be grown with many tops as if you grow it untopped it grows as a beanpole. The S1s I did produced plants very very similar to the original.

This KC s1 is weird but lovely stuff.
Smell in the bag is very very musky. But not skunky musky. Slight stale cat piss edge. Makes the tops of the nostrils tingle. And there is definitely a white chocolate edge lurking in the bark ground. And I get the odd fruity edge but very slight. Also a tobacco smell.
TBH, I do not really enjoy the smell or the dry toke. Its very very old school and I have tried loads of weeds that smell very similar and are horrible to smoke. Here is the difference.
This stuff is lovely. Really smooth toke, lovely soft flavors of all the scents. But the hit is really strong and has an immediate effect. Straight around the eyes, slap. Lovely energetic and motivational high but with a load of body also. So great for report typing.
I will do a proper report with pics on this also in a day or two.

glad you like it, E-man certainly saved some unusual genetics when he kept a cut of that, the S1's were pretty identical by all accounts. it certainly is thick and silky on the inhale and exhale. not a good scrogger's plant i found, but a pleasure and great experience to grow. those nugs were from LED as i remember. small but frosty.

herbalizor - That's really good news - I'm glad you like it. It's not one of the most smelly strains, and it's certainly an odd smell at that (I get dusty cheese/celery personally when it's growing), but it tastes great, and the potency is more than good enough for anyone I know. Resin coverage is generally the highest on any strain I've grown to date - just beats OG Kush!

i'd like to hear from some people growing the Bristol Kush-i was up in the Cotswolds over Xmas-meeting the locals-they were growing it. I got bored of the hit years ago but it smells soo strong. Was smoking all sorts of weed with some guys last night-Captain Sofa started breaking up a bud of the Kush and it took over my taste buds while i was smoking a bifda of something else-with a 2month cure the fruity smell intensifies into a sort of spicy licorish.
thanks for the labelling tips, guys-don't want to give the impression that i'm a massive slacker. I'm normally quite rigorous but things only have to go wrong once (for a min or two) and the effects can re-verberate down through time- and other peoples growrooms
