Wow DMT, I'm impressed. We need to teach a class: "Ethics In Growing"... lol Too many "caregivers" just looking to make a quick buck. They don't want to take the time to learn the plant and turn out quality medicine. At the same time, they want to slap a $400 price tag on every zip... right... i get them for super cheap from china, and they are reliable. ijust set up a 24 lighter with 600w digis(my fave btw) and 4 already have calved
out by the end of the first crop. i think digis are still in their youth and havent matured into a 100% reliable product. we get maybe 1 ballast per 100 of the old school cord n coil that malfunctions.

another thing too is sometimes we get used equipment donated, and try our best to use it everywhere, so that is arbirtray. we cant risk a 5% failure rate over 420 bulbs. the work alone to return, reoerder and re install is a superfulous waste of time, energy and resources, d

Ya they may cost less to run but we already sent back 6 out of 50 dual 600 digi ballasts.
Our power supply steered out choice tho. I have never found a source for magnetic growlight ballasts in 208v around here Any one know a source. also do you have a link to the Chinese company you use.

i had a pow wow with the plumbers today for my visit. gona have 2 inch pvc main line, with 1 inch thruhulls off the buckets for the feed cycles. im hoping we can flood and drain 50 5 gal pails in under 10 minutes as i prefer the shortest irrigation possible.

i will detail as i go with pics as i dont wanna get ahead of myself. the 2 bloom rooms and veg room are all upstairs, which means gravity will drain the 3 rooms, gotta love it, d

Sigh... while the Vietnamese that rule Vancouver and area haven't murdered any medical growers, they routinely rob them. I'm sorry but if you think the Viets are gonna sit on their butts while you set up massive medical grows, you are insane.

I myself live in total fear of them... for good reason, if you get too big, they find you, they find your family, and then they enslave you. The RCMP do not give two shits and a fuck about medical growers, they tip off the Viets even. Having to change your name and start your whole life over isn't fun, altho barely managing to avoid death does invigorate your will to live. But the paranoia isn't fun, knowing how easy a target anyone is to those with no fear of the law.

They own BC hydro employees, they know who's using electricity, they know every single medical grower and their setup location due to Canadas incompetent privacy protection. They browse ICMAG, they know about you now... bravo.

I'd rather piss in a Hell's Angels face, than give a Viet a funny look, because I like living.

Last time I installed a service that huge, it was for industrial plant that welded military tanks and rocket parts.

Oh I had an alarm system, unfortunately when they cut the power to your house, they don't work. Although power-loss alarm and backup power isn't such a bad idea, it really never occurred to me since BC Hyrdo is quite stable. Hell, I didn't even imagine that waking up with half a dozen Viets with guns in my bedroom was possible. Honestly, telling them where my grow was saved my life, I'm pretty sure blowing a whistle is only going to piss them off.

Ripping grows is an INDUSTRY, they routinely do it, doesn't matter how much security they have, this is their PROFESSION, and the BC courts do not prosecute rippers. Most of my equipment I buy now is from rippers... altho my paranoia makes me inspect everything for tracking devices that I get from them.


Dealing with the Viets wouldn't be so bad if they were just one group, and not dozens of fiefdoms growing and ripping grows while armed to the teeth. All I'm saying is stay the F out of BC if you want to succeed, Ontario needs big co-ops more anyhow, and the Hells Angels are pussycats.
