hey guys, i think i has something in my sig that wasnt jiving w the rules. it all makes sense now. ive been on here over a year and its always been there, so it wasnt the last thread it was my sig, so no biggie, thats all kg or jj had to say, or remove it, not bin a bomb ass tutorial.

i guess triple post concussion syndrom and 30g a day make for investigating things abit slow on the up and up.

i have no beef with the rules and no beef with the mods. this is educmacation at its finest, and kind words are better then cutting ones.

im editing my first post as it wasnt meant for this thread, so that is that on with the benefiting the community with the utmost respect for the mods and their keepers, d

Despite the argument....this looks like a really professional setup.

D-do you sub contract out any of the build or does your team do frame--->harvest?

there was a team of tradesmen to build the production site. all experts in there own fields respectfully, and all permits pulled for evey step of the way.

our collective is trusted to do our best on the grow side. design, system, lighting, water quality, genetics, efficiency, peace, d

im sure everyone has there ideas about how this site should be ran, unfortunatly im not an expert in that field and hope everyone can respect the laws of the land here.

so lets all enjoy the ride, as i have a amazing thread to share with everyone, no matter who or what they are or think.

keep it clean here guys, we have a new year and a fresh start and positve vibes to senfd out.

my condition leaves me no energy to argue or be egocentric so lets act like a team and leave the mes and u's behind, peace, d

Personally I never knew the sites' admins were more interested in promoting their sponsors than the struggle some of us face.. being able to grow anything at all!

I never really care what strains anybody grows. I am always impressed by the methods and extremes that some of us face, just to be able to produce their product.

Makes me wonder, is this a site for profit? or some way for our community to spread its knowledge. Sorry to sound weird.. but, Wow.. who cares what/whose seeds they are.. look at what amazing things they are doing...

Does the story of Ann Frank bring any comparisons?

Glad you guys are on point.

I tried to raise some interest on having a Heavy Weights sub forum, but the interest did not seem to there. I for one would love to see the big guns goin' off and I am glad you are taking the lead.

So what do you guys do, drive around Canada and look under the electrical main line for big ass warehouses? I would love to know how many icmag-ers are in the 100+kw club. Even the 50+kw club?

I wish I could go bare bulb, but the city of Denver frowns upon it. I love the 1 plant one light concept as it keeps me legal.

So as always the challenge is can you keep the quality with the high kw? We all (well, alot of us) know it is doable.

Good luck and swing for the fences

I have nothing against people making money and nothing against people running a business but lets be clear about whats going on here. If the site is about selling seeds and lining someone's pockets then so be it lets not pretend its anything else. However, if it is about something more substantial than selling seeds and making money then why not let other genetics be posted about? Not everyone who posts grows with other genetics are interested in promoting reeferman or swerve or whoever the eff else is out there. We are all looking for the best green we can find to fit our needs and if one of their beans is the way to it then so be it. And how exactly it is disrespectful to the breeders who call IC their home to have free uncensored information about all breeders and genetics?

I am in in complete agreement on the subject. I would love to see icmag rise above the the whole seed bank for profit thing and make its profits off advertising, and become a true clearinghouse for information.

What's that flat white sealant painted everywhere inthe early pics? I'm setting up my first warehouse and would like one coat for mold and moisture resistance.

ive already got the ball rolling on a totally non profit forum where everyone can talk about everything and anything.

in a place where money is used to advertise, its only fair to not allow non vendors to showcase, just makes sense.

if there are any net geeks willing to volunteer and help a non profit collective w a website we would be more then thankful, pls pm me, d

I can't take any props. It's all DMT on this warehouse.

We've been friends for years n' years. We're on the same collective and just fuck around with grows.

Endless nights of scheming.

Inspiring project to say the least. I've already started scheming about collectivization here in the big empty. I'll be tuning \\in for this one. We are currently switching one of our warehouses from soil to hydro and we are always looking for ideas. how many square meters of crop space you lighting. also glad things got sorted with the mods HM

Excellend work DMT. I love the mindset/attitude.

I've got a good friend with a med card who's not too happy about the medicine available to her here on the island. Just researching what we have to do so I can start providing for her. Would be nice to have the little personal grow I have legal, and helping someone legally.

I know exactly how you feel about doing what you enjoy vs. money. I worked up in northern Alberta for many years doing something ugly for a lot of money. Now I work out of my house building things I enjoy building for much less money... But I'm happy. Being in the grow room and tending my ladies also makes me happy, as does helping people. Putting all that together to help me stay in my house building things and tending my laides so I can help other people just sounds great to me.

Stay Golden Buddy.

Wow DMT, I'm impressed. We need to teach a class: "Ethics In Growing"... lol Too many "caregivers" just looking to make a quick buck. They don't want to take the time to learn the plant and turn out quality medicine. At the same time, they want to slap a $400 price tag on every zip... right... Anyway, good to see other young, educated growers...

So I am curious why you chose to go with the magnetic ballast. Cost? What brand were they?

i get them for super cheap from china, and they are reliable. ijust set up a 24 lighter with 600w digis(my fave btw) and 4 already have calved
out by the end of the first crop. i think digis are still in their youth and havent matured into a 100% reliable product. we get maybe 1 ballast per 100 of the old school cord n coil that malfunctions.

another thing too is sometimes we get used equipment donated, and try our best to use it everywhere, so that is arbirtray. we cant risk a 5% failure rate over 420 bulbs. the work alone to return, reoerder and re install is a superfulous waste of time, energy and resources, d
