hiya

thanks for the feedback guys

fred, when they stretch the leaves upwards it's actually a sign of health. they do that when the ph is low which causes the roots to suck in a lot of water.. so the internal pressure of the plant is high

dont wanna comment on yield, not enough experience with this setup yet

thanks amnesia and i wish you nice holidays as well, and everybody else too

next update comes in two days, cant believe it's the end of 4th week already :)

looking the picture of health mate.. may i ask wheir u purchased ur lights?? used the old version yrs ago nw, early 90s n loved em but sadly uk dnt sell em, well not round my parts.. also do you fully close ur tent? as im amazed you dnt suffer high temps with just one exhaust fan.. i run same set up at one of my spots but can only manage 3 600s n thats with 2 exhaust fans.. 1 in winter tho... all, the best n stay safe..mrc

hey stony! really nice progress, I think the canopy filled in pretty nice.
but somehow I have the feeling you got a little too much light on that space footage, as the ladies are stretching their leaves upwards so much almost folding them together. it's similiar to the eye, when you squeeze the eyelids when looking into too bright light.
but on the other hand they look healthy to me, so that might be subjective ;)

how much do you usually yield with your setup if I may ask ?

greets
fred b

iv heard a few ppl say this but i havwe to agree with stoney as mty plants strech to the light with only 1 600 and even in the dark so that prity much proves its not frm to much light.. now if the leaves are curling inwards on themselves then maybe to much light but id still says its to much heat produced by all the lights rather than to many lumens... mrc

some big differences in nutrient consumption are showing now. so i give all of them EC 1,0 (already including pk13-14 which i started at day 25) via the automatic watering system, and i hand water the special berry which is really hungry every 2 days with EC 1,5 or more. i hand water the strains that i feel are overfed with pure RO (EC 0,0x) water every few days to dilute and flush out some of the nutrients

complicated, but if i dont do it some are going to end up horribly overfed after a while and others with deficiencies

thx firefox and mr cheese. mr cheese, im from austria and you'll find those lamps all over the place in europe. i got mine from a german store called hanfburg

Growing different strain and also phenotypes with the same solution is often a pain in the ass,I know but you're doing a nice work :good:
Keep it green and dank bro

could be better. i am not happy with a lot of these strains. some hardly have any bud growth potential and this setup with high illumination and high potential for nutrient supply is no benefit for them, could just as well put them in soil and under a 400w lamp and they would grow the same

the afghani delight already have 50% brown hairs and are not really growing anymore.. at day 35.. -> wtf?

i've never had powdery mildew but the LA confidential, and only the LA confidential, has it.. seems to have very poor resistance against that stuff

well anyway, if you dont try you dont learn, at least i get to know these strains/phenos and can decide if they are worthy to grow again

some have deficiencies and im having some success handwatering them with higher ECs

overall ph 5,5, EC 1,0 for most plants and up to 1,8 for the hungrier ones like the special berry

I know you see deficiencies here and there but the overall view looks really good to me.At the end you will have a lot of different pot to smoke and compare and this is good.

yeah thanks noreason, i need some cheering up. i didnt know any of those strains to begin with, but i kinda expected better i guess. for me yield and potency is equally important

whatever, they have ~30 more days so lets see

some strains are basically done, some are going very well. the surprise for me is the AK47 (2nd row), it was very puny in the beginning, very thin stems, and now it's growing the largest buds of them all ;)

i might at some point consider a mono culture with the AK47, i think there could be some monumental yields with that

the medicine man (last row, in the back) is also doing well and gets thicker continually.. i would however not do a mono with it because it's VERY indica heavy and you'd have to give it 1-2 weeks veg more than most other strains

the afghani delight is basically done and i'll harvest it the next days, since it's not growing anymore and as all it does now is produce unwanted humidity and takes light away from the other plants

here's a pic, all brown hairs:

EC 1,0 - 1,2, ph 5,5

the action is taking place pretty much exclusively in the last 3 rows now. the special berry, tiburon, and especially the medicine man are going good still

took a test bud off the medicine man a few days ago. i can tell you, i didnt expect that. have grown about 50 strains so far but cant remember such a heavy smoke and heavy stone.. although not necessarly unpleasant, but it will send you to sleep, guaranteed

im flushing the mandala #1 (1st row) and afghani delight (3rd row) since a few days and those will fall the next days - they're not growing at all anymore

well all in all this grow showed me 2, 3 good strains i think, so although yield will be small, i think i can today already say that it was a success

greetz,

servus stony,

it looks good, not as great as the last run, but good.

I hope I see in the next run Hashberry again.

Green Hessin would also be nice to watch once in your box.

Stony I'm to spa, u get photos only when I'm home.

Excuse me, that you must wait so long.

Best wishes

may not be as big as you'd like but the buds look like some stinky danky and juicy indica from here.
