It's the typical Laker fan attitude. Blah blah lakers are the greatest team in history even when they're losing blah blah blah.

It's ok to admit when you're having a bad season and you're far from number 1.

I'm down to my last few buds of grapefruit.am starting to freak out a little.since it's christmas i guess i could wish u good luck tonight,but fuck it,i just can't make my self say it.wait and see,shaq's big lard ass will be taking up about three seats on the bench come crunch time.surely u guys aren't counting on him to get u over the hump.Rondo was my favorite player in college,played for my state school.Saw him play in high school,was worth going just to watch him handle the ball,huge hands.Somebody is gonna be trash talking later on,hope it's me.

Celtics GO GO GO!

Grandiose Happy Holiday Wishes to everybody, even jagdog (hope you get everything you wish for...except 2 of your wishes).

Celts are supposed to have both O'neals on the court today, I'm not worried about Shaq, but J hasn't played in a while. There is this sports analysis company called "accuscore" that predicts the outcomes of games by simulating the match-ups in a computer thousands of times. Accuscore is predicting the fucking Magic have a 59% chance of winning the game today. Obviously, they haven't included the intensity of KG, the clutch-quotient of THE TRUTH, and the fact that... SHAQ'S GOT OUR BACK!

Accuscore probably didn't take into account that the Magic literally JUST made a pretty major change to their lineup. They're now a lot smaller than they were and we have 3 big men today that can take on Howard. That's 18 fouls we can throw at the big man. With their smaller stature and the fouls we can throw at Howard, we have a huge defensive advantage. As someone said earlier, defense wins championships.

I that's where we differ. I have no problem telling you good luck every day except the days we play. Laker fans remind me of Yankees fans. :rollseyes:

I think you're correct on that. I'm more concerned that the Magic somehow managed to manhandle the Spurs just the other day. I do wish Perk was playing...I love how he takes DH out of his game, makes him look like Superwoman.

So, its an 11:30 am start time for the game...am I allowed to crack a beer?

Now if he can only redeem himself from the title of "shaq-a-hack" and make at least 50% of his free-throws like any average starter NBA player is supposed to make. I'd love to see a showdown b/w Spurs and Celtics for the championship. That's the match up it SHOULD have been in 2008 finals if they called the foul on Barry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fR4m0ZThDYY

Either way, @ least the celts beat the LAKERS that year. That is the only team I'm willing to cheer against in my own conference. Good luck on the game against the magic celtics.

The game was also on the back end of back to back which I believe was the same for all of their losses (maybe not... can't remember). I do believe that had a huge part of it. I also think the Magic got lucky, I mean I was reading an article today that was saying the players don't even know each others names by heart yet. They call each other by their numbers (obviously not the veterans). I just think to be that out of sync and still win, the Spurs played an equal part in that loss.

And yes of course you're allowed to crack a beer!! It's 2:30 over here, so I'm good to go!

The way he is dominating the paint, throwing great fouls, AND averaging 11.3 PPG he can go 15% from the line this year for all I care.

I can't believe this is happening like an hour from me!! I called some dudes on Craigslist for tickets but they were all sold out! selling 4 for $75 I wanted to go so bad :(

yeah, me too.

just imagine how nice it will be to see him on the court again, and in full strength as well. That guy needed some sit down time if anyone did. But it very evident his absence is seriously impacting the Celts offense.

I think we're doing a good job with Howard. The scoreboard doesn't reflect it, but hey, we're getting into our rhythm.

magic,kareem,worthy,cooper,rambis,byron scott,ect -VS- bird,dj,mchale,parrish,ainge,ect.those championship series were the best ever.
