The Celts are like the Pats. If they stay healthy they will most likely win a championship this year.

You betcha ganja, thank the Lucky Leprachauns that Danny Ainge assembled a team that has DEPTH rarely seen in the NBA.
Even with all the key Celtic players out with injury in this first part of the season, we still are kicking ass, have a 14 game winning streak going, and will only get better as these hurt guys continue to recover.
Plus, these early season injuries are allowing the bench players to get more non-garbage time playing in games, which has to pay dividends down the road, especially if injuries continue to be a problem.
Lets all just keep our fingers crossed that we avoid the ugly "Post Christmas Collapse" that has haunted us the last couple of years.

How can you say that with any seriousness jagdog? Are you aware of the team's respective records on this day? And, the Lakers aren't what ya call spring chickens either, Kobe is feeling the pain of old age as well.

I really think the Lakers are the team that needs to worry, they have more competition from western conference teams, they might not even make it to the finals this year, given the odds.
Heard a rumor on ESPN Sportscenter that the Mavs are trying to get Melo from the Nuggets...if that happens, the Mavs would be the huge favorites to get to the finals from the west. It would also suck for any team meeting them in the finals too.
TV game note folks: Saturday's televised game against the Magic will be the last one on regular cable for, I think, 23 days. So get your Celtics fix in on that day, gonna be a bit of a drought.

i just don't see the celtics getting by miami or orlando.i know the celtics are hot right now,but i just don't see where they have improved their roster any from last year look how the magic just made their self so much better.we all know how good the heat could end up being,damn i hate lebron james though.the celtics weren't good enough last year and i don't see where anything has changed.

Perk (he's a defensive BEAST, and everybody knows that defense wins championships)
Delonte West (damn good shooting point guard that the Celts were missing last year)
Semih Erden (contributing solid bench minutes, always a help to have another big guy)
KG...HEALTHY! (our defensive on court coordinator, tenacity cubed, great offense too)
Jagdog, you obviously don't pay much attention to the Celtics roster, which is why you posted what you just posted. Read my list, and that illustrates some positive changes from last year (except for Perk, he was around last year, but not this year, and look at our record without the big beast).
Thats understandable though, I don't pay attention to the lakers roster so much to understand its depth. But, I just posted a bunch of reasons the Celts are better this year. Can you post how the lakers made as many positive moves as the Celts?

I mean shit wasn't west traded for Ray Allen way back when? He's been hurt for a while now but that dude is a beast... pretty sure Boston is the only team he's been on where he's not a starter...DEPTH bro DEPTH..... That's why Boston takes the championship this year... just can't have people getting hurt....

The Magic did surprize me beating the Spurs but Shaq and Glenn will give them hell and he'll get his points so they just need to play Good D on the rest of the team we'll be OK...I can't wait
I used to love shaq,now i can't stand the big bastard.How can u call them fakers?all they do is win championships.Shaq is gonna be a non factor come crunch time,wish i could see ur faces when bricks a bunch of free throws in a late fourth quarter close game,hopefully in the playoffs.
