30 hours in jail might cost me my job. I am a productive member of society with no record. All of that would change with one wrong move with LEO.

The problem is too many Americans are calm about these situations. The fact that those cops even cared that they sere being laughed at enough to just no keep walking is a problem. The fact that they took those guys to jail and COMPLETELY DISRUPTED THEIR LIVES, IS 100% WRONG!

Like Hippy said. that could have cost those guys their jobs. Bull shit like this happens thousands of times a year in the USA, and the convictions that follow many of them are 100% unconstitutional as well. You may not care about those guys, but it doesnt matter what any other side of the story is. opinion doesn't matter in this situation. the ONLY thing that matter is the abuse of the law by the police. also many of the laws they are enforcing are just unconstitutional made up bull shit made up by rich white men that miss the days of slavery

Police have no right to be bullies and any bad thing that happens to them is well deserved. When some asshole cop gets shot by because he decided he needed to pull a guy over for being black in the wrong part of town, it his his own damn fault 99 percent of the time.

any time i interact with the police, i always say as little as possible, and am never rude or mean. why? why not. they have the power to put me in jail or write me a ticket that costs me money. being a dick to a cop is asking for it. i never saw the point. why the fuck would you risk it? i understand i can, and it is my right, but i just dont so the logic behind it. what good can come from it, i guess what im saying. was it worth the laughs, or to re-tell the story, you tell me...

some times you just get pulled over and a cop starts prying and making all kinds of accusations."where are you going son?, where are you coming from? you have anything in the car I should know about? Why dont you let me take a look in there boy?" When you refuse that is all it takes for their power trip to start. you should not be a dick to a cop, and they should not be a dick to you either. Being a dick is one thing, but being a dick by hurting someone, and then giving them a criminal record, for defending their rights is criminal, and despicable. positive reinforcement of that criminal police behavior from all three branches government is common. The unjust behavior of the police is held up more in court than the constitution when the police are questioned.

The government, and police love to have zero tolerance policies. As citizens we should have equal zero tolerance of that bullshit. The more people that stand up for there rights the less police will be able to get away with their behavior. lets say ten times more people decide not too put up with police bullshit and peacefully state their rights to the police. Well that usually leads to police abuse, so that would lead to ten times more police abuse, which would lead to the ACLU having a field day. either that or those police would just have to stfu and deal with it, and respect the bill of rights.

But my father is a very privileged white man. We have been pulled over SMOKING A HUGE STINKY JOINT and were told TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHT AND DRIVE SAFE then the cop came back and asked for my dads autograph.

on the other hand Im a mutt when I was 15 i was living in chicago.. I basically got jumped by cops No reason just walking blatant bullying and abuse of power, but since then I am courageous in the face of bodily harm

foe example

one day I am strolling down my ally left the back of my fucking 1.3 million dollar house headed to the beach I duck behind a trash can to light my blunt and the cops pull up...they say what are you doing I say honestly officer im smoking a strawberry swisher filled with og kush and gods gift and there is nothing you can do about it...

you can guess how much they liked that so they got out of their car... and go right for the girl i was with trying to intimidate her asking if she had other drugs and to search her purse...i looked at her and said DO NOT LET THEM LOOK THROUGH YOUR PURSE...

notice they went for the girl first PROOF of weakness... so then

they have the nerve to tell me "not to give her advise"

to which I respond "didnt your mother teach you that YOU NEVER GO THROUGH A WOMANS PURSE!"

lol at this the two cops started arguing with each other. DUMB

Then i say "I am free to go now right"

they say "we could arrest you for this"

I say "No You may not"

this repeats a few times

I say "call your superior"

they look more confused

I say "I am free to go now correct."

then

my mom and aunt show up lol this is where it gets funny

my mom sees me talking to the cops gets out of my aunts car and says "what did he do?"

the cop starts to respond she cuts him off and says

"I dont really care Take him to jail...he'll have fun with you in court"

i say "I am free to go now correct officer"

they say "yes we are letting you off with a warning"

I say "yes please write me an incident number I am filing a complaint, so include your badge numbers please."

They drive away I go home and roll another blunt... The same cops have since pulled me over come to the window of the car seen it was me and WALKED AWAY.
