I live in northern MN (tourist country) and there's just one thing that keeps all those tourists in the city, temperature. If it were somewhat milder up here commerce & industry would move north, I like it just the way it is.

it was Aug 22nd or 23rd of 2004 & I was going to coffee in town @ 6:00am, as I drove past the bank the temperature flashed 34F, there it was damn near freezing in August.......


night time temps in the high 40s/low 50s are common and results in many camp (or fireplace) fires being built for both ambiance and comfort all summer long.

I live in So Cali...and I pay a BIG price for that!! It has been raining here for DAYS!! I had to go out today and buy a jacket...
