Nice report gonzo and nice buds. I've got 1 headband going now and 4 more in the fridge I hope to get something that nice. I did their other sour kush (sourd x bubba k) and their OG both were straight FIRE.

I did have 2 herms out of 6 beans popped if that helps at all too.. Was lucky and found a decent pheno but I'm not messing with fem seeds again. The others where not worth the space and ridiculous stretch

Damn that sucks but not the first time I've heard of herms fromt his strain. One of the first reports I found online was all about herms. I got my seeds for free so not much of a loss but still would suck. Almost makes me wonder why they were freebies, maybe they're from a hermie batch.

sounds kinda similar to the 707 or whatever the cali cut is, Ive never had success with fem seeds so at least you had SOME that didnt herm.... Only tried um once tho...

Awesome. I got some of these exact beans soaking right now. I really have enjoyed all the gear I have grown out. I also have some OG Kush #18 from them that is really some fine smoke. Did you grow out more than one? If so, where they pretty consistent in their growth or where there a couple of pheno's?

I have grown out 3 phenos of the OG18.. The first one was from the first batch of og18 ever released. It's pretty damn similar to the stuff thats goin around now, but i think the first batch finished a little faster.. Smell is pretty idential.. As for the 2 phenos from the newer batch of seeds released, they are both identical, bud formation just really didnt start blowing up for about a week longer.. I would recommend topping it multiple times and defoliation technique..

Confusing stoned out of your mind type of high...

This is exactly what I don't like about Headband... and the California "Kush"/Diesel lines and their derivatives in general. I've had OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Orange Diesel and Headband Diesel. The one exception to this was Sage N' Sour... very sour smell and flavor without the usual Diesel Cloudiness that I've experienced.

I find headband to be a head rush alert type of high. & Sour D, OG, & Chem are all pretty clear headed for me w/out burning more than I need to.

Iron, the herms where not bad, more annoying is all.. Sterile anyway. I think regular seeds using la confidential would have been better with the og. sour diesel x (og kush x la con) Too bad fem seeds are so easy to make and people like me still buy them

This one ended up being very similar to the headband I get locally which I can only guess is the 707 based on what I've read. A little more pine to the sour kush that's about it.

Grendelkhan - I popped all 6. The consistent traits where aroma and stretch. Good luck with your beans, interested to see how you compare to the og18

I have some headband but have not grown them out yet. I did grow their OGK though. The one cut I took went 13 weeks! Smoke was amazing though.

what type of loupe do you use gonzo and everyone else, everyone seems to have a pretty close to definate estimate of amber to cloudy trichs, ive used 420 scope and regular loupes theyre impossible as fuck to look at a live plant with. I end up "molesting my colas"
