I am not a soil grower, yet; but these ladies are really making me think. I do know this those PK nugs are bigger than ANY others I have EVER seen and I have been playing with strain for a while.
The Bic lighter in the photo says it all, this space looked to have the potential for 2.5lbs per light. I never thought I'd see that in soil, what DG is doing with the PK is beyond amazing!
Running on the rails DG! All three sets of plants are looking great and glad to hear things are on line for your asteroid project.
Don't think any of these questions have come up or been answered, so wanted to fire some off at you.
1. You stated yer using an ebb and flo controller for your feedings and you have 3 of those 100 gallon trash cans.....one as fresh mix, one as backup, and one as pure water.
Are these three all connected to the system with simple shut off valves or do you manually take the pump out of one to the other?
2. If you have the time would you mind posting up some more of your feeding pics.....the controller to the buckets back to the system kinda thing....Saw the big white 2" pvc going back into one of the reziz.....what does your collecting station look like before that happens and does the simple 2x4 risers allow enough height for the water to drain back to the collection area without any issues? Also, there are no air stones at the bottom of your buckets are there? Just four feeding stakes, rockwool and then drainage. The horeseshoe emitter would work well for you but they're kind of a grip and not really worth it if you're using rockwool but are great for soil/coco......also they're not offered state side yet from any garden site I know of......http://gurugardener.co.nz/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=10&products_id=100
Wanted to pick your brain about pruning up the bottoms with the PK in particular as well but I'll stick to the feeding topic for now and look forward to seeing some more nug shots!
Thanks.
