So, I'm not looking for a shit slinging contest here but just wanted to SEE if people have some educated opinions/pictures on the two and what if any differences there may be?

Long to short was I purchased a good amount of beans in the anticipation that I was going to grab some DSD or Limon from Zepp but they went crazy fast and now am looking to pick up some other gear that I been meaning to for awhile and just wanted to hear some opinions on the C99 take.

Thanks for any input and happy growing.
:thank you:

be the first to buy both and let us know,

curiousity on this one definantly

I mean C99 is a Jack Herer phenoe. So it's interesting to see the variation within seed genes...

Both are prodigy from Brothers Grimm stock from what I remember. I look forward to more from this thread. I have run the pineapple cut and the fruity cut from seed and clone... in fact I understood that DG bred them for Gypsy.

think you have some things mixed up

DGS has no C99, gypsy has C99 grown out by DGS

am I missing something here?

If you read the description of the GN collection C99 f2's it says:
Breeder:Dutchgrown

Then follow the detailed description given and compare to what Dutchgrown says about here C99 and you will see they are likely the very same thing.

Just ask DG, she will be happy to let you know. Very open with info.

PS just read DG's cataloge again, and what she has is the GN collection C99 f2's: they are one and the same.

could be full of shit, but i was under the impression DG was the breeder/seed maven on the 'GN collection' c99 f2s - under the 'Dutchgrown' banner, all i've seen were c99 crosses.

again, not typically guilty of paying too much attention tho, so grab ahold of that w/ a large grain of salt.

gdtrfb, you would be correct.

GN C99 f2's are the ones DG made, as she states in he seed cataloge.

Mystery solved. :tiphat:

Dutchgrown C99? Dutchgrown does not offer a straight C99 just crosses with it.
The Gypsy C99 was done by Dutchgrown for Gypsy <---redundant ... sorry

there is seedyness in the seed industry,

trying to rename a legend is stupid

without giving the legend credit.

all I am trying to say

show some respect

No Jack Herer is not SSH

Right now I have 4 Mosca c99 BX1, 3 Mosca c99 F1, 2 c99 by Fairlight, and 2 c99 by XYZ going, they have been vegging for almost 60 days in 3 inch peat pots half buried in dirt with many others in some 20 gallon tubs while I changed rental houses ( nerveracking) I finally have them in a safe place for a few months under my 430hps and after a week or so of letting them get some new roots after transplanting yesterday, I am going to cut the lights to 12-12. In a month or two maybe I can have a little input on these different C99

I have a pack of moscas c99 bx1 on the way, I think that could be considered in your choices. I have heard mosca has done alot of work with c99.
