Just a couple of inches... the grass is already coming through. We had a few days of being covered up and with snow in the forecast 5 of the next 8 days there is sure to be more.

Tired of re-acting or Trying to out smart mother nature

Decided to go pro-active today...Seeing more rain in the weather forcast and still no end to the cellar flooding/pumping situation,I figured its do or die and got busy today....Started with a trip to the lumber yard...Got enough presure treated 4x4's and decking to build me a new 8'x8' platform[nicknamed the ark]...Tore down an exsisting wall[giving me 2x the space] and cleaned up the water soaked debri.....Built the new deck, rerouted electric lines, hung a few K of vertical lites and perminatly hooked the pump hose into a french drain system....Tomorrow i buy a new sump pump and hardwire that puppy in....Get back to my growing not playing dutchboy and the dike.[Not that theres anything wrong with that].. For air exchange-6" inlet fan[fresh air in] on a temp sensor...ac/dehumidify/heater system 4" lines both in/out[can keep the room temps between 70-80 ,24/7/365 -while running 4K of lites] Finishing with a inline 8" exhaust fan dumping into a chimney[bad air out]...Filter/screens on the intakes along with a 5000sqft ozone gen.[just in case]....
Compultion is a very good servant but not a good master...Tired now. :dance013:
Missy-B ,Those were nice looking plants..Thanks for showing off the moonshine..
Fb--Aint nothing like a new pair of sneaks, key to success, comfortable shoes.

---or anyone, what are known safe/reliable heaters for outbuildings?---

Archie, that cheese sounds wicked stanky.... awesome. I hope you like your sweet like as much as I like mine. I picked my keeper by high not yield so your girl may be even fatter..

cool, i got the wonder woman to grow for a friend that put me on her card after she didn't have good luck at growing. the others are the ones i wanted to try out and make seeds from.

i should be getting some gran dad purp from the local med club but there kind of new and a lot of the stuff I've gotten from them were just problems and sick plants and bugs.

muddy waters - if you get the grandy daddy purp i got, its a low yielder. ROCK hard buds. and smokes killer... also a pain in the ass to veg. but all in all a great strain.

I read sugarloaf is doing a huge expansion. Mad glades, cant wait! Never been there but want to go this year. Mostly sunday river for me. Those pics are nice looking. Is that ST good for the mountain or more for after you get home?

Fatblunt- Not sure exactly the strain. Was told by the supplier that they were two different strains, SSH and a Cheese. I do have to say that he is not the most reliable source for info but hey they were clones and I couldnt say no to free. Just trying out my hands at some small scale stuff till I can figure it all out.

That GDP sounds like a very interesting plant, maybe someday ...

Just finishing up the{Reclaiming the basement] project as the next 1-2 " of rain starts to fall...Have to say it was a pleasure to watch the water level drop and STAY below the new "ark" with me doing nothing but watch....Long as the power is on im good to go.[Note to self:invest in whole house genni asap]..Guess the silver lineing to the whole ordeal was getting serious about the whole medicinal grow project.Getting rid of the excess water helps me by--Dropping the humidity, drying out the surface of the floor[crushed rock] along with ripping down an old wall and opening up 2x the area to let things streach out and breath....Whole goal was to have an area that could be[somewhat] controlled ,dialed into a set parameters sorta like a controlled enviroment system....If this upgrade works out, think the next step might be to go with drip irrigation with a fertilizer injector the off to vegas :dance013:
The heater/dehumidifyer/ac/fan system I use is a 14000 btu solairus....If your trying to heat an outbuilding then id use propane fired monitor..
Im off, new pump just sucked up a rock and blew the breaker :bump:

good luck E.C, im glad you can get to the growing. ive been planning to do a drip system, but i still hand water.
those 4 in ones have a 4,200 btu heater, and 12,000 btu AC. were always mainly stand up A/C's. so not a big heater on it. probably wont do an outbuilding soo well.
