Look at the relativity to this world and that of a car battery...you need the positive and negative to complete the charge. This thing right here you are experiencing is just a subjective experience to that energy. Hell is all around but its only with in hell can you create your version of heaven ya dig?. One cannot exist without the other.. If that makes sense then...tomorrow morning if everyone walked around telling everyone else we are all in heaven right now, you'd feel even more in hell. As an artist this became apparent to me through the existence of "contrast" in all shapes and forms. The implications is that you cannot experience the heaven without the hell, and vise verse, because how would you tell them apart see.

Good notion there although I find it hard to accept personally. What you say implies a certain continuity of character and environment in ones dreams. The dreams I have don't seem to have that kind of continuity.
I had a similar theory once that you might like. Basically Heaven and Hell is a construct of religion it's a carrot and stick to keep the people moving in the right direction. Ultimately though it's all faith and so it's all whatever you believe it to be. The belief has to be deep though because you can't decieve yourself. Anyway when our bodies die the brain stops, which produces our thoughts and feelings and everything that flows from them as electro/chemical impulses. The collective energy all those impulses represent is what we call a soul. Now one of the laws of physics says that energy is never destroyed or lost, just transformed. So what if at the moment you die, after your life has flashed before your eyes and just before your brain shuts off you essentially create your heaven or hell based on your belief and how you percieve you've lived your life. Meaning if you truely believe you led a good life and are worthy of heaven then that's what you'll get and it will be everything you imagined it to be. Likewise if you led a bad life deserving of hell as you understand it, then that's what you'll get and it'll be as bad as you feared it would be. All of this would be in an instant at the moment you expire but since energy is transformed to you it will be an eternal instant. Essentially in this scenario you are you're own heaven and hell because your god is within you and is you as is your devil.

I believe hell is all around us, because this physical dimension of reality is the densest one, energetically. All you need for eternal damnation is to stop time and the physical reality we see all around us is hell enough for anyone. Heaven is a myth, because the afterlife is so personal and individual. But I am positive that if you fail to progress past the physical matrix we call "reality" in your lifetime then you wind up stuck here, losing all sense of time and suffering greatly from the thoughts of all you did not do in life.

"this thing right here" No one really knows what it was.....of course, read my post....i stated that......"its different for the individual but not the whole"....One cannot exist without the other in this life...i would agree but we cant make that assumpion about the next....how do you know the (heaven and hell) havent been seperated by us before we die? i "think" i know the difference between a "good" and a "bad", giving me the option to choose which one i will lead life with....however like i said these are my own non destructive beliefs

Existing without self, without contrast, with out heaven or hell. Endless hallways of mirrors and doors. Its like that old movie alice in wonderland, where alice goes down the rabbit hole and comes to the two doors, one way goes to hell, one way goes to heaven, but which one? only when she realizes that none of it existed anyways did she free herself..instead of being tricked into left or right she realized she needed to just keep moving forward..
not going to use the word heaven but maybe the real win in the situation is to either have both or none at all. One of either would be terrible...heaven all the time or hell or the time for eternity shit man what kind of ride to you want? lol

Well in a way I am saying we just made it all up. I'm basically saying that whatever you think the afterlife will be then that's what it will be even down to the rules of admittance. So if heaven is the whole pearly gates thing then that's what it will be for you. If it's the whole 77 virgin thing then that's what it will be. Likewise if you believe it will be nothing, then that's exactly what it will be. The key is that whatever it will be it will be eternal but that eternity will happen in a second in real world time.
I also want to get back more on track of the original topic where it talks about how at any given moment someone somewhere is suffering and also how there are situations one can be in where things like "life is what you make of it" doesn't seem to apply.
One needs to be careful when saying that because what is heaven like or what seems hellish is all a matter of perspective. I think someone used the cholera problem in Haiti as an example and sure an outsider in good health with access to good healthcare will look at that and think how horrible. To the person going thru it though they're likely focused on different things and maybe they are being cared for a little better because they lived a good life helping others and so it doesn't seem as hellish as it might be for someone who maybe stole from others and only did things for themselves.

sure would be "nice" if folks that are confined to wheel chairs and things of that nature get it all back.....that sure does make me happy since this is what i believe.....i wonder if when folks that have "disabilities" dream if ever in their dream they are without their "disability"....maybe someone could help me with that answer, if so thank you. Years ago I had a buddy with no arm and he would tell me sometimes it would itch.....the arm that wasnt there.
