AWESOME grow thread! Its so great of you to photo the entire process, really helps show others what we should have as a goal!

Couple questions:

How long do you keep them under only the CFLs? I ask b/c I recently killed some seedlings due to putting them under HIDs too soon!

Also: Ever do a smoke report on the MOC Big Bud? I recently ordered some MOC Big Bud crosses from Classic Seeds here on icmag, here's his description of them:

i keep the baby under cfl from germinate to first week of life then put also MH for the first 30/33 day then put HPS and only lateral cfl where hps no arrive then now i wait more stretching for a week and put also some cfl down for help the lower bud coming more fat and rock...

sorry for smoke report about m.o.c. big bud, what you write about big bud is true man but just no strong high you can smoke all the time when ever you want keep you quietly good but nothing exceptional ...i hope this help

hey grower yesterday i check meticolous if the rest of plants show sex definitively and fuck up shit i have one sour kush and one bubba kush present pistill in the last internode and i think ball in the internode down, but for now no look real ball because small ,i need to wait 2 day more for see what happen ..

my question is : what i can do with this 2 plant if present both of sex coming hermy....or no sure ??

updates from yesterday day 14 flow..

my garden going quietly good also if i take out one of big bubba because ball coming, also other one i need to check this next day because have both of preflower up still pistill and down internode ball,this happen also to the one of big sour kush ...shit.

from 5 sour kush this is the situation:

SK 1 ( BIG ONE SK ) ...FEMALE 100%....
SK 2 ( TRIFOLIATE )....FEMALE 100%....
SK 3 ( TOPPED # 1 )....FEMALE 100%....
SK 4 ( TOPPED # 2 )....FEMALE 80%.......80% because still only small one pistill but no sign of ball
SK 5 ( MORE INDICA PHENO )...MALE/FEMALE BOTH 50%....

from 5 bubba kush this is the situation:

BK 1 ( BIG ONE 1 )...MALE 100%........REMOVED FOM GARDEN
BK 2 ( BIG ONE 2 )...MALE/FEMALE BOTH 50%... (not sure ball)
BK 3 ( SMALL 1 )... NO SHOW ME SEX ..??
BK 4 ( SMALL 2 )...NO SHOW ME SEX..??
BK 5 ( SMALL 3 )..NO SHOW ME SEX...??


i hope the 3 small bubba with single cola no branching and same pheno because all 3 look the same coming female cazzo, the 2 big bubba one i take out because only ball coming and other big bubba i don't no if i can keep in the cab with other maybe hermy i don't no..i need to check today if still also ball ..i hope no because from 5 bk i have only this nice fat and bush ...

the sour kush coming more good then bk , 4 are female and only one maybe hermy ..??!!

Damn for the hermie, i also had some balls on my Chems in the first weeks of flowering but luckly they stop to appear after i removed'em, is a "common" problem with the SourD hybrids... Do you have some more detailed shots of the suspected balls? In the 2nd picture they look balls, but the pic is not so defined...
With the Bubba? One turn male 100%? Out of a pack of 100% female beans?

Usually i give a chance also at the "light" hermies (of Sour's and Chem's hybrid), the risk of a dangerous pollination is low IMO... If you forgot to remove 2-3 balls (that USUALLY appears ONLY on the lower branches) at max you can got a dozen of seeds, with no particular consequences on the overall quality and weight... But, is my opinion

For the Bubba, i'm sorry, i heard lots of feedback on GH, both positive and negative, but some friends got some good phenos out of their seeds...

i'm back with fresh and good news, my pretty grow still going quietly nice and the problem with ball change in no problem because no more ball coming and this 2 plants where before coming after present pistill and start make flower from few days so i'm excited to se how they turn because from what i see promise good ..very bush n' fats plants also very healthy and green, i hope put out many beautifull buds..eh eh

the first 2 pix are the big one bubba kush, other small bk present no branch with single cola with very short internode..maybe change in one big cola..ahhhhggrr

Sucks to here that some of the hermaphrodite traits passed on from the SD in this cross. Even though it's minimal, I'm probably gonna steer clear unless I see some super chunk come out at the end. Not a fan of GH at all, but I hope you do get something good out of there genetics.

Looks like they are all very healthy and doing nicely, definitely gonna watch this one.

the problem with hermy i hope is close, now start make flower .
i think they try make hermy for stress caused cold in night time maybe and after i see explode in thousand pistill also from this ball but i take out for prevent the pollen go up the flower ..but just my 2 cent about, now i hope going everything quietly nice because plants look very healthy n' green, i have only one bubba coming big like sour kush with multi branch too, but i have 3 small bubba with single cola no branch, maybe turn in big fat single cola eh eh we can see soon how they come.
i need to say also the stretching not going so fast and so high ..nice for now!1
