Hey emerald city, thats crazy to hear stuff like that. The RKS threwn out, I know plenty of us who would ditch moms and seed collections to have back. Wish you could find some still floating round Maine. Hopefully I can start a small collective of growers that wouldn't mind helping and sharing in my area, cuz i'm not "in the in" down here and never have the oppurtunity to get anything let alone ecsd. I stay to myself and only a few know I grow and most of those few also grow or have grown so it doesn't seem like a bad idea to me that us mutual grow friends really come together for the betterment of all. The strawberry cough is not hoarded around these parts at all...

How good is this bruce banner? Was offered it a while ago but had never heard of it...

the banner is absolutly amazingly fantastic!!!! I have harvested 40+ strains and the Banner#3 is the best all around strain, taking yield, medicinal quality, taste, smell, and appearance all into consideration. Its Reservoir Strawberry Diesel (Sour Diesel x Strawberry Cough) x OG Kush. It smells like strawberry, the high is compleatly on the OG side, and the taste starts a sour strawberry delight, with a fruity OG/Diesel taste left in your mouth when you blow out. I would consider the yield average to above average.. Kinda like Sour D, only its a 8weeker instead of 11.. Get it if you can!

I have a couple of offers for this cut as well. Ive only seen a few buds here and there and while I will grow it sooner or later, its not high on the priority list. Too many other Og's to grow right now.....

Flavor was described well. Og diesely, slight fruityness, high really pounds the front of your head/face.

It won a cup in Denver a year or two ago. Really any of the Colorado cannabis cup winning strain mothers (Denver, Boulder, Aspen) are fairly hoarded.

i still want my bruce banner cut...homies been lagging on that!

a couple strains in the bay area i want to get my hands on but are hoarded is a certain blackberry kush cut that floats around sacramento and san francisco, and the cherry pie cut that is around san francisco. stop hoarding!

That Royal Kush was pretty lame. I got it along with a bunch of real nice, amazingly dank clones and so it was a selected RK cut for sure. It was fast as hell and heavy, but gross! Had this strange spearmint flavor, way too dense there was like wood inside the buds. I used the same organic nutes as everything else got, the Royal Kush was pretty disgusting really.

Cherry Pie would be nice, had a pretty good of it the other day. I know Ingrid is also hoarded around sf, as I see it pop up from time to time, but it isn't all that great imo.

Wouldn't mind seeing a great sfv cut up this way:)

Thats a stupid rumor being spread.
BB3 was out of the stable for a long time before the boom here. It's ghost og x DStrawberry diesel. It's a nice plant with good yields. Every sample of the Royal Kush i had was top notch.

I'd have to say another hoarded strain would be the gunk out of ohio. It is a G x Skunk best grown in SoG.

I really can't wait till my Bruce Banner mom is big and stable enough to rip clones from. Unfortunately I will be waiting at least 5 months before i have a chance to grow it as it is only 5 inches tall at this point.

Have seen all but 2 of those in the clubs in socal if that helps you :)

And you never know until you try/see them. Or you just keep going on living life without them, always good to do your own research and figure out for yourself :)

kstampy - You may have seen the names in the clubs but I pretty much know for a fact you didnt see any of the real ones there. Name games are as fast and furious as the clubs that pop up selling you the latest greatest.

its not uncommon to go into dispensaries that sell "chemdog" clones and flowers with excess LEGIT chemD buds to donate and get a response "wtf is that? THATS AWESOME" and thats when you ask them about whats that "chemdog" on their menu like hahaha

what they call something and what it IS is totally different much of the time. its an unregulated backroom type market theres rarely "real" QA going on.

so yeah you gotta try them out to see what they really are.
and if its just pm you got as a special bonus gift... and not mites or aphids too
