Good looking subrob!! I had a Hasplant around May that really wish I had kept a cut of around. And the crosses.....delicious!!

I ordered 10 HP seeds back in the mid 90s, sprouted them in the windowsill of my apartment and grew them outside and came up with six females and they all looked exactly the same. It was obviously a very forgiving plant as it was the second grow I ever attempted (bagseed was the first) and I really didn't have any problems. I remember it tasted awesome. It's deffinately a strain I wish I had held on to. Looks really good man.

here is the female cut i have flowering as we speak...i labeled her #11...there are now only two other females, both recently cloned and transplanted...they will be tested soon...incidentally, i hit a branch of this with some older haze pollen...will have to wait til harvest to see if it took because this biotch swole up so freakin fast any seeds are about two inches down!...recently found out that APE here in socal was given a cut of hashplant from the same seed batch and its a cut that has been in circulation for a lil while locally...

NICE! gotta make a second trip winter break.....

Does anyone know if Sensi's Maple Leaf Indica is as good as it used to be ? I grew it out years ago and it still is one of the top hashplants that I have ever grown but I lost her and would like to try it again . Has anyone grown out MLI recently ?

Apparently MLI went downhill after '98.
In fact there are loads of dutch strains mostly sensi seeds that started getting shit after 98, I remember growing their afghan back in the day and it was excellent, bought more seeds in around 07 and it was weak.

Hi

I just come harvest MLI and i have cultivated Hash Plant, is not the same plant. Hash Plant is very better than MLI ( it's my opinion . . .) more resin and a better taste, the ice o later of Hash Plant is terrible ;)

I hope you have help.

Ciao

Got MLI hanging up, cut four days ago. Was grown from a pack bought three years ago. Grew outdoors and I was pleased with the yield and ease of growing. The colas smell like skittles. Very resistant to mold (though this season was very dry @40n.) and only a few caterpillars on them. Glad I have two more packs of seed.

so where is the best source

so where is the best source

I am looking to find a good hashplant option from seed.

I know that the clone had to be carried on in someones work!

Who has the best options for hashplant from seed right now??

i think hashberry from mandala seeds is the best choice for a hash plant. the buds produced are very compact, and although they are a little leafy, the buds do great for hash production.

That's what they sent me, it's bland in my hands. But I guess if you're going to make hash out of it, maybe you want this, but it wasn't resinous or particularly hashy for me. It had a nice but slight dankness (when handled) while growing, but small trichomes with low odor and taste. Only the dwarf mutant was interesting to me, but that sprout should have died, twas at the point of no return. All the females in the pack were better for BHO or maybe hash than buds for sure.

If the real Hash Plant clone is all that, it's way better than the Sensi product. Maybe if you inbred a pack up to dozens of plants you'd find the greatest plant ever, who knows. I'd go looking for real HP clones.

Their MLI keeps coming up here, but no one is making hash out of it and it isn't HP. Big long dense very easily manicured buds red with calyxes yet very light. Dealers would love this until the buyer opens the bag and his face changes. The high calyx:leaf ratio would be good for breeding with a rank sticky runny sativa, but for me MLI failed just as hard taste/odor/sticky-wise as their HP. No wonder why few grow it indoors.

I said before that one of my Sensi HP females had no THC at all - now this is interesting, if someone grew out a pack and had each plant tested they might find that this is a mixed THC/CBD type strain. Some people unfairly think a plant with no THC is a sign of bad breeding and maybe in my case it was pollen contamination, or maybe that's their strain and Sensi is keeping it that way.

Ganoderma, what year did you buy the Sensi Seeds Hashplant beans? How were your germ rates? When did you end up harvesting?

harvested about a week ago, the beans that I had(grew out) where from about 4 to 5 years ago, and where from a 15 seed pack, not long after I got them, Sensi switched to 10 seeds per pack. I started some of them 2-3 years ago, and I think that all of them gremed back then, and with the remaining seeds that I started, two didn't germ, and I think a third may have germed but it died shortly after germing.

How long did you flower for? They are advertised as 40-45 day'ers, but I had to take mine to 55 for her to finish properly. I posted some of my SSHP pics earlier in this thread under an old username. I didn't find any phenos that had any flavor out of 3x 10 packs of circa 2009 seeds. Nice yields, easy to grow, but nothing special. I am still wanting that lizard pheno!

I took them to day 63, I wanted to push them a little, I was looking for a plant structure like I have seen before from the hash plant. There was one that could have been taken at week 7 I think, but the rest looked as if they could have come down on the 8th week. the one that could have been ready at week 7 was the biggest of those in the photo, but she hermied out on me, and it dont really taste at all. All five plants seam to be different in taste and high. Three of them have some real flavor behind them, one has some flavor and the other one has hardly any flavor.

Cool man, thanks for the info. I must of just gotten unlucky and only found tasteless phenos....oh well...maybe the BOG Blue Kush will surprise me in the future for a hash plant!
