EC,i run a 128 watt led for veg, works but i only keep 4-6 in veg @ a time??/tried flowering under 2 of these no way!!!!!!! even w/cfl side lights???as a veg light it works ,you might lose a week over a 6-7 week veg.i get nice short internodes and stout little bushes?
Thanks for the input.....Thats the general consenses ive been hearing....They work for veg but dont cut it for flower cycle....Finnaly run into 1 guy today that has worked with a larger one that came out aprox 18-2 years ago..He said "Total waste of money trying to replace hps's with led's."
Guess ill wait a few more years to see if they work the bugs out.
Time to build a fire and call it a day, gonna be frost on the pumpkin by morning.:)later yall.

Wow, we got some great growers in the NE area. I wish I knew more people locally, though in a way it is safer not knowing anyone. Here are a few plant pics. I am new at this and had a few problems but on my 3rd grow and it has been great so far. Starting some more 1024 (my favorite plant ever) and some afghan kush and I have several autos of crosses I have done as well as a few regulars, some 3rd dimension and jack the ripper...

Guess us Maine-iac's have a new governor-Paul Lepage. Not sure his stance on medical MJ but by his tone he dont come off as being to cool on the issue....Politic wise this shift to the right may be good for small businesses but doesnt bear well for the pro MJ movement in the state o maine....
nhmi-nice pix
archie,dirt,fb,doob,vado,h3ad,and missy B ,[who'd i forget?]May you all enjoy this beautiful afternoon.Later Gang......baked again

hey guys/gals, just making my way to the NE growers page. its great to see this thread being lively...and that yer talking LED. it's the way to go i believe. especially if the smartgrid shit hits the fan, low electric use or alternative power sources will be absolute key for indoor grows.

whats growing in new england???

right now, i watch these;

super silver - dinafem
SLh - Ghouse
swissXT/leda uno - KC
acapulco gold - barney's
ice - nirv
alaskan ice 'wild' pheno - Ghouse

in the pipeline;

WW - seedsman
AK47 - oh yea
blue mataro - kannabia
SSh - Ghouse
DruidFluid - NL x local badass outdoor seed

ion.. everything you can imagine is growing here in the NE! this place is frickin hoppin haha..

nmhi- nice job on the third run! especially not knowing other growers, that always helps immensely (guess thats why we're all here). keep it up!

guys, i think we are in trouble with this new gov.. i mean i dont know where everybody stands on this but- teaching creationism in schools? doesnt sound good for liberating the herbal scene if you ask me.

happy thursday all! im hoping to dig some burdock roots and plant some garlic before the ground freezes all the way up..

you mainers got some good garlic, im lazy again this fall<>no garlic in with no prospect of putting it out. i still gotta prep the garden for the winter!

dunno about you all, but i'm glad california's a few miles away. ima firm NO guy to the whole idea of legalization. there's so many facets to look at,so many pros and khans.........but the bottome line is legalization opens the door for the us.gov and it's alter-ego (all corporations) to roll out their cannabis contingency plans. most of us in new england, i would venture to guess, are not terribly fond of our keepers/handlers/"voted officials"........i dont trust it all....i dont buy it...i dont like them....i dont want there to be legal weed..........

headlines read; Archer Daniels Midland introduced a new cannabis strain today that has Viagra genetically engineered into the DNA.........ADM stocks up 24%.................Monsanto today held a press conference to allay fears about cross-contamination of a cannabis test plot in up-state New York, prevailing winds may/may not pollinate Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine with Monsanto's patented terminator seed program......

and yes, i DO wear a tinfoil hat.....lined with lead.

Doobie Nyce, i'll be over later for sum a that oil! ........<<<<yummy>>>.....

SPOOKY halloween hash doob, you totally should have entered the photo contest with that...

hopefully this Lepage wont step on our toes, and we wont have to step on his.. but I dont trust him.

this guy looks greasy as fukk, and yes- a lot like the gov-nah!!

picture.php

people only voted for him cause they love pie!!!!

eddie.saw- glad to see you checking in, was about to get all mother hen and start worrying about ya..

JT- eddies right, you missed it. sorry bub, see ya next year...!

ION- arrrghhh I HATE monsanto.. scary f-ing shit.. *pulls on lead lined tinfoil hat*

I am thinking Maine should try to petition for complete privacy rights like they have in alaska. I feel like maine-ahs would totally vote that in. then we could get really overgrown..
