will be taking more pics this friday, week 6.....

its a nightmare in there. dude didn't buy netting and we are using sticks to keep everything up, over 700 so far and counting, takes 20-30 minutes a day to maintenance....

had a scare last week, got a call from the landlord, water leaking into another unit. a hose under the sink tore all of a sudden and was leaking water, about 50-70 gallons. landlord didn't care, but shit! could of been very bad! he apologized and discounted rent because he said he bought a shitty hose?

the quality is extremely good and the smell is intense. have buds as long as my arm and there is lots of purple.....

at 2 zips a plant, looking around 30 lb's, i usually do way better then 2 zips a plant though, thinking an average of 3 zips a plant right now....

BTW - i messed up at the beginning and said i was using lucas formula. im actually using Heads formula with calmag and pure blend pro, ppm's dont get above 700 here....

the taller strain was determined last night to be a gdp cross. it absolutely reaks and looked just like gdp, but does a 4-6X stretch and i have some plants that are 4-6 arm length buds on them. but gdp is short and squat.....
so i decided to call the kat where the clones are from an he remembers the guy he got the strain from said there is gdp in it, but does not remember the cross......

When you handwater your rockwool, do you saturate or do you aim for a certain water %?

As far as I've been told people like to use drippers on rockwool to get a more even distribution of water and to better control getting right around 70% water content to allow plenty of oxygen to the roots?

I'm interested in your methods/reasoning! Let me know.

i tell people its this simple, water from the top till you see bubbles come out the bottom. i do a slow count of 10 on the plants with just 6" cubes and a 15 count on the 4's on top of 6's...

http://www.google.com/products/cata...og_result&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CEAQ8wIwAQ#
this is similar to the wand i have , but the one i got is from the hydro store. for some reason the ones from the hydro store has way more even distribution, coming out the tip, making a shower. bought tons from tons of store, but non of them can replicate the hydro store ones, they are $30+.....
only problem the wand i use is the holes at the tip, clog when there is leaf debris in the res and have to be cleaned every 20 or so plants, kinda sucks....

i did drip in cubes before and had really uneven distribution through the cubes. if one side dried out, it would repeal the water and that side of the roots would die. two drippers did better, but was way more of a headache.......

Great info krunch.

I wasn't aware rockwool wetted so unevenly... what's the deal with slabs being so popular then? Wouldn't slabs be hell for even distribution of water unless you used multiple drippers per plant?

6" cubes have fibers that horizontal and vertical, where the slabs dont, there fibers are all vertical, so the distribution would be more even. i dont like using slabs because i cant move the plants, in 6's they can easily be moved....

no lighting controllers. couple breaker boxes and several t101 timers, think 4 lights per timer.....

Ya right, the people of CA making the historic gain they did '96 helped 12 states and DC get laws on the books for MMJ.
Its selfish people like you and the street that want it kept illegal. You are no different then the scum slinging that shit on the street.
You are unable to adapt and find a way to still make money in the new market, so you fight against progress for all to keep yourself comfortable..

Karma will come back and knock your ass down..

ya, im one of those people who helped get prop 215 in. went to the weekly meeting at Dennis Peron's club to help put together writing of the proposition, helped organize the rally's, went to and helped every fundraiser also attended and helped at Debbie Goldbury place every week to raise money for the proposition, oh! and donated all the hemp products at Chris Conrad's auction at his house to raise money, all before it was called prop215....
volunteered for the DEMS and registered an ungodly amount of voters. then went out and gathered more then 1200 signatures by myself for prop 215. then after it passed, helped open and was co director of the second club in California's history, and i was only 18.........
