I reserve "Proper english" for courtrooms, roadside checkpoints, respected elders, and a few others.
America isn't called the melting pot for no reason. So many cultures are packed into urban environments where a lot of customs, traditions, and vocabularies are overlapping. Just because you see something one way, in this case it is how to talk, doesn't have any gauge on how another person perceives "proper vocabulary". Communication is like eating food. It happens among all people of all cultures - everyone has many of the same dietary staples however they employ them in their diet many different ways. I'm sure you have a meal you enjoy having prepared a certain way...what if I was to tell you that you're making it wrong or eating it wrong or it tastes wrong......just foolish... There are no rules in life, it's just using what we got and making shit happen, plain and simple. If you have a problem understanding a point someone is trying to communicate maybe it is you that is the problem, lacking the cultural evolutionary traits needed to live in the cultural rainbow spectrum that is the world these days.

i find it funny when people fuck up common words or sayings. hard not to call em out on it.
e-writing really pisses me off sometimes too. typing with 3's for E's, Z's for S's, RanDoM CApS, ect.
i use the same filter for real life as i do on a public forum.

I have actually thought about becoming educated in this area through tutoring.
I disagree with you that ICMAG is an INTELLIGENCE site.
Most questions go unanswered because of lack of intelligence and reputation.
Also those with the intelligence don't share what they have earned rightfully, but lose it overtime like all things hoarded.
Those who share there discoveries, are sharing knowledge they discovered, most rarely ever share something intelligent.
Thats my op, im sure someone intelligent will come along and correct my grammar and share there knowledge on how unintelligent i am.

I think SIR_NUGGET is out of his element. How else could you explain a post of this nature? It's suppose to help people read the forums with understanding.

What really concerns me is the brain-washing of people that leads to them accepting that there are 'rules' in grammar, written and, indeed, spoken English.
This is of course utter and complete hogwash.
There are no rules, there are conventions and 'accepted' usages especially in academic circles where for research and scientific purposes dual-meanings could be confusing, to them. But as for the rest of us please be as creative as possible because this undermines the state and it's mission to control.
Therefore say what thou wilt and finger up to the wassocks and how you like it said to them all everyone everybody.

Sounds like possibly you are lacking that because if you have ever done studies on intelligence you would obviously know if you remove letters but the main word structure remains the human brain with most people will automatically fill in the blanks.So maybe your reading level isn't as high as it should be?...Oh and one more thing if you can communicate faster by typing less you are more productive there for a smarter approach to communication. You can spend hours on here writing proper but I'll be taking care of my patients..a bit more important. Oh and you'll still understand me.
