Shoreline from houston.
Really? From what I've heard the clone only resides with one guy in Alaska.Real deal Mantanuska Thunderfuck is a tough one to find around here. I have seen some MTFs that werent MTFs but have only seen the real one once. If you find it, you may have to bash a few heads to get it.
you could be right, I just have only had it when visiting houston, and houston is on the shoreline. It's a skunky sativa, and is pretty much is the only thing i like about houstonI thought it was Austin Shoreline? could be just a different cut or just someone tryin to bring some reputation with the naming
I've got a line on real deal Shoreline through an old friend, said his family has been growin it for years and its definitely a tight group.
supposedly a real nice sativa dom strain, I still haven't had the chance to go out and get it though.
For sure some great genetics have been lost when no copies were made. Shit happens...the 'X' factor...like a third brake light...lol.i was able to get most my genetics back from kats i let have them, would of lost them if i didnt let them out....
Strains ARE hoarded for commercial reasons...otherwise why? Maybe just an ego thing if not for dollars?Unfortunately some strains are hoarded for commercial reasons.

Was kind of cool to deal with a somewhat hoarded strain called J1, the people and mentality of those 'holding' it, how it spread through the Cali scene, how long it took to spread, the fake clones that started showing up, etc.
Yeah agree pretty decent...not 'elite' status...but for whatever reason I like it better than what many others clamor for these days. Ed was just passing it along as this cut originated a few years earlier. Best I can tell it was made soon after Jack Herer came out.i remember the original J1 from ed rosenthal circa 1996, pretty decent......
