very nice. im just putting a dual spectrum 250hps (sunmaster) in my bigger cab for the winter, looking forward to seeing what it can do. the indica pheno looks .

the indica pheno may be ready soonish but the sat pheno may take a while longer as already mentioned ;)

PanchoBuddah, thanks for the props!

VG, thank you as well. And thanks for the modular scrog idea, it's been working well for me even though I just have one module. It's nice to be able to pull the girls out of the box for training, trimming or whatever.

what is the dimension of your cab

Hey GB420, here's a drawing
the flower chamber is 27"W x 14"D x 22"H.

It's been a nice little box, the link in my sig is the build thread. Have to say though the 8" height above the screen makes it hard to control strechy strains like this sativa pheno. I might want to lower the screen in the future.

I'll add some photo updates later. I cut a bud from the indica pheno last night to check where we're at. Still not dry enough for a proper evaluation but put a little chunk in a pipe this morning and so far I'm pretty impressed with that one. Nice uplifting buzz, hard to type now so more to follow later.

Today was chop day for the indica pheno. The test bud the other night was very nice and the trichs looked right so I decided it's time.

The sat pheno is still going strong so I'll just be waiting and watching until her time comes too.

the screen is a still over half full. this one crowded out the indica pheno.

Niiiiiice pull on your indica. My sativa is foxtailing just like yours, here's a bud @ 73 days:

Must be a sativa thing.

Great job man and good luck with the sat,

I really enjoy these micro-grow SCROGS, very cool! I think it's neat that you challenged yourself by trying to do a Sativa, and I'm glad your hard work's paying off :)

StealthDragon- Any idea why the SSH didn't take to SCROGing?

Guess I should have waited until tomorrow and updated at 100 days but anyway...

The sativa pheno is still going. I checked the trichs and they're still mostly clear so the end is not yet in sight. This strain takes a loooong time. The leaves are yellowing nicely and the plant is starting to look haggard enough to be done but the trichs say wait little longer.

the screen at 99 days

The foxtailing is still an issue but the buds are fattening up nicely, should get a pretty good yield.

foxtails, but fat bud all the way down to the screen

Hopefully the trichs will start to amber up soon, it takes a lot of patience to grow this strain. I getting anxious to move on to the drying and curing phase.

btw, the indica pheno is cured and in the jar. She's a nice smoke with a good uplifting buzz. Only got 34 g's so not too impressed with the yield on that one. But as noted before, the sativa sorta took over the screen and crowded her out I think.

Looking very sexy if I do say so myself. You and oldone are definitely inspiring me to invest in a very LONG sativa. Good luck to the harvest to come mate... May she get nice and fat before meeting the butcher.

Thanks coloradomedical. I will hold final judgement until after the cure but so far I'm not too sold on at least this strain of sativa. Although I think there will be decent weight, it's just not getting as frosty as I would have hoped. I know that is sometimes hit or miss and I don't want to indict all sativas. But given that I've invested almost twice as many kWH as I would have with a nice indica hybrid I just expected more.

I've decided to take her out for a flush today and chop next week. So we will soon see if it was worth the wait.

Make sure the cure is as long as the it should be and I am sure you won't be disappointed. Though, I agree... The extra money into production does have to weigh heavy. I always love floating vs. being stuck in a couch though. :p

I hope it was well worth the wait.... Karma too ya mate.

Coloradomedical - I'll definately give them a good long cure but there's always some testing that needs to be done along the way, right?

Anyway, decided today was harvest day. I'm seeing some ambering so I decided to go for it. Looks like there will be a decent yield but it's going to take forever to clean all those little trichless sativa spears out of the buds.

Need to get to work trimming, I'll post some bud photos later.

Well everyone, here's the trimmed photos

ready to hang one of the big ones

Looks like a decent yield for one plant in a small box - I'm thinking it should be about 80 g dry. That plus the 34 g's I got from the indica pheno would get close but not quite .5 g/w.

It does make me wonder if I could get close to the same yield with a 150 w light instead of my 250. The screen dimension is 12" x 26" so just a bit over 2 SF and I've read there are dimishing returns after going over 100 W/SF. Been kicking around the idea of building a bigger box for this light but that's down the road a bit.
