It's pretty stanky. Hasn't got the bud smell yet.:) The screen is plastic stuff from Lowes. I think it's advertised as fencing to keep kritters off outdoor plants.

One of the best parts, for me anyways, is the smell!!! I get like Homer with a donut when I open the door...lol...
so its the same fencing that I was wanting to use...good stuff...it looks like it would'nt be so harsh on a plant..the wires have actually grown into my TW..
Thanks Disco!!

I had that happen with LST wires. No sure it hurts anything, they don't seem to mind. This stuff stretches with a vigorous plant though.

you are right...my plant hasn't seemed any different either...
i like the idea of the screen stretching...I think its stressful enough being bent and twisted every 2-3 days!!
take care

BC Chronic, that's a cool thread. I'll have to check it out.

PanchoBuddah, yes sir! It's on 12/12 as we speak. I probably post pics a week in. Thanks for stopping by, guys.

Sorry for the no-pic delay. Looks like I've got a pc virus that may require reformat. :comfort:. I'd hate to send pics at this point.

What looked like high pH was an ill-adjusted meter. Twisty leaves are a thing of the past. Droop was most-likely a saturated root ball. The plant is big enough to handle all the watering now.

The battle continues.....

Too much fade at the lower levels are even and appear to be N def. Added N causes slight ram horn at the top. I'm starting to suspect Mg def as some of the fade appears splotchy. These symptoms defy typical N and or Mg def symptoms.

The good news, the plant is too big to suffer harvest-wise.

While this Kush\Diesel x Deep Chunk canopy was more even than the current scrog, it was too-busy to maximize yield.

The current scrog has room to breath.

I'll get the virus fixed, even if I have to reformat the hard drive. Then we'll get to observe the current scrog already in progress.

if you want some help for the virus. I recommend a program called "Malwarebytes" its free. I fix computers for a living and i use this program all the time. Its probably not a virus more of some kind of spyware/malware. Also that deep chunk looks amazing!

Hideeho, Struckanerve! Thanks for the kind words and the advice. I've have Malwarebytes and AVG but their quarantine ability had been compromised. All I can do is "ignore" or "exception" the affected cookies. I can click to the folder which contains the infected cookies and manually delete. But the source isn't in the system files. It's most likely in a program file. Neither malware nor antivirus recognizes the program-level infection.

I needed acrobat for PDFs. I should have typed Adobe.com in the address bar. I screwed up and typed Adobe in the search window and got an Adobe package infected with the malware. Shame on me, I knew better than to do this. The site appeared identical to Adobe.com even though hindsight tells me the URL was anything but.

The nature of this malware seems to attack the lnk files that substitute legitimate shortcuts with infected ones. Clicking a (local) desktop shortcut actually linked me to a website loaded with popups. My popup blocker was initially activated though the malware changed that.

Now I have to manually seek the source icon located in it's respective program file folder by right-clicking the desktop shortcut. If you have any tips, I'd sure give it a try.

In case you're concerned about uploading pics, don't be. You can't infect any of our computers by posting pics in your thread. Best of luck cleaning up your system.
Plant is looking delicious

Thanks, bonsai. I wasn't sure if it might have server implications.:) Thanks for the motivation and kind words. The malware already downloaded Windows 2000 elements to my XP system files. It was like an operating system within an operating system. I settled for the certain fix, even though I may have been able to avoid.
