lol yea man that makes me embarased to be a leafs fan. I stoped watching the game after the second period. All those powerplays too, and they didnt capitalize on any of em. Altho thr was a good fight at the end of the first period so thats cool lol. If my dreams came true i would like to see the habs vs. leafs for the stanley cup... the habs are a classy team so i def. would like to see em do well
Not even worth watching... leafs are gunna win, and im sure KarmaGirl would agree with that

well tonight is gonna tell me if my Hawks are gonna bring the thunder this year. im not expecting TOO much cause we dealt off almost everyone. i am happy as hell that hockey season is back. if i had to deal with another month of baseball before we got started...bad things would have happened.

I like what you have to say there RC, but its gonna take a whole lotta effort from this new team if they want to repeat. Having your #1 goaltender give up a softie in OT on opening day isnt the best laid plan for a second run at the cup.
Yes, it is early in the season. Yes the team needs time to congeal. ive said it before, ill say it again. Turco makes me nervous. from the film ive watched on him, he gets beat moving side to side and will cough it up trying to spring his wingers from the zone.
I also see the beginnings of another problem. i see the bitch gene creeping in here. with the loss of Buff, we lose both size and physicality. we NEED those!!! im just not sure where they are going to get it. how big and mean do they grow em in the AHL?? if farm raising someone isnt the answer...get to the trade boards guys. we need us a thumper!
Dont make me go re-animate the corpse of Bob Probert and slap a Hawks sweater on him.....cause i will!
