Joe4444 - the problem you are addressing is called name forwarding.

Where to begin...growing saved my life. Growing made me stop doing all bad things. Icmag made me a real grower and not just a retard with a 250 HPS and no reflection. Now currently have a 1k setup with c02 enhancement in a heat shielded tent. Icmag also made me a breeding donor as of recently too; I am honestly inspired by some of those here who donate beans. I've also made friends; as a natural loner it's nice to communicate behind a keyboard without having the "omg i'll beat your ass" mentality. Above all chat is my favorite; it's the real on icmag imho.

Obviously, we can't always be as open about our hobby as we'd like with the general public for security reasons, so it's nice having a place where we can show off our grows without really worrying about it! Plus, my girlfriend tries, and she knows way more about bud than any other non-smoker, but it's nice talking to people who get it.

It's also nice being able to discuss strains with the people who created them, like Wally Duck and Rez. It makes me feel less like I'm supporting the Microsoft of the seed world, some anonymous evil empire you know?

Anyway, thanks to everyone at IC Mag for providing a place to discuss something that's been a HUGE part of my life :)

After several edits to my previous post I realized that URLs in posts are automatically converted to include https, which is good. However, if you manually type www (dot) icmag (dot) com in your web browser, if you will NOT get HTTPS automatically.

Just be careful when you first come to the site. Once you're here via HTTPS then all the links within the site should maintain HTTPS. You could still open a new tab/window and inadvertently go to regular HTTP. Unlikely, I know, but as the server is configured today it is possible.

I'll notify the webmaster...if I can figure out how. (Webmaster has been contacted)

I have to manually change it to u/l pictures... I have to take out the s in https: otherwise I get this:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.icmag.com.

SSL peer was unable to negotiate an acceptable set of security parameters.

(Error code: ssl_error_handshake_failure_alert)

It has been my favorite website for almost a year now. I just wish I knew about it sooner. It often makes me think of one of the very few first time I tried growing....I was all of about 14, and made a make shift grow box out of a shoe box with a regular light bulb hanging from it. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but thinking about looking at High Times back then...just astonished me. I have been obsessed with it ever since. Almost 20 years later it would help me survive one of the biggest recessions we would ever see.

I really don't know how people ever got along without the help of the internet back then. You really did have to know someone who grew to obtain such information. High Times was great, but there is so much info here at ICMAG...along with people who are willing to give you advise in real time. You cannot get that anywhere else in the world.

I love you ICMAG!!!!

Weird. Have you tried another browser? I don't have that problem with Firefox.

It's the Tor bundle...that could be the problem...

Sounds like me...new to smoking again, found this place...and the rest is history. I grew as a kid...and got nothing. Mom would find a row of seedlings in the garden and tear them out. I did a few gorilla grows in the woods...but living way up north...they'd freeze before flowering. This was the 70's, probably all Sativa...no way it's growing in NY. I also tried a grow in the attic...dad saw the light coming from the vent...he tore them out.

Yup, this place has helped me grow indoors. and the people here have been great. I've done several, but there's always something new to learn.

How did we learn? We went to the library. We traded underground "books". I'd be ruling the world right now if I had everything available to kids these days at the touch of a button back then. You can know everything...if you're willing to look.

The internet changed the everything...I should have known, I should have invested.

Icmag has the greatest amount of talented growers on the internet. When all these people get togther and share infomation .It creates the best resource for learning the craft.I used to grow outdoor ,on and off in the past.
But when i came here,i got so interested from reading that i got serious about it.And now grow the best ive ever had.
The benefits and ideas are endless ,and growers here .Well what more can u say.
There's some other good sites ,but when u want to cut out all the bullshit ,time wasting theads on other sites .This is the place you come to.

What has icmag done for me?

What has icmag done for me?

Well it has provided a resource of great information and I've met a few really nice people on here and had a laugh along the way.

But I suppose the best thing IC has done for me was the assassination of Yummybud :)

It was a mercy killing if you ask me....

No hyperbole or exaggeration. IC Mag saved my life. I had just gone through a bone marrow transplant because of persistent Acute Mylogenous Leukemia and was addicted to pain meds. I came on here, learned about growing the best medicine nature can provided, got off the pharma poison and haven't looked back since.

This site changed my life and my perspective. Best Cannabis Site on the Internet bar none and it's not even close.

:thank you:

I learned that I can grow dank-ass bud with cfls. I would have never tried growing if it were not for coming across Dr bud greengenes micro perpetual cfl thread.

Now I have a hard-on for hemp oil. looking to figure out how to pull 6 ounces a month with 12 plants in flower so that I can be compliant with the proposed law coming to DE through Sb94. I want to do it in a ngb box with pll or cfls. Stealth will also be a concern.
Cheers,

Who cares he wanted the question answered, I did the cloning part, he came up with the idea... Yes you can clone in the dark BTW... Thanks JF we are all a little wiser because of ICM and you! Peace and puffs :dance013:
