convention, in the world of plant breeding is to list 'female x male', so i usually read it as "sk pollinated by nl" or "Sk by Nl"

I always say "crossed with" since the female is first and the male is second. So the "crossed with" really means "pollinated by".

This applies to people as well:

Male shud never cum 1st.

Female shud cum 1st.

I say "times" but I never really gave it any thought.. it's just how I always heard other people say it when I was younger and it stuck with me...

times kinda makes sense but only like "1 x skunk + 1 x haze = 1 x skunk/haze...or some shit...I'm high :D

What the fuck? People here really say,

"Oh this? This is OG times Sour D." ?????

Strain crosses aren't mathematical equations......lmao

"Crossed with/to" or "and" are the 'correct' linguistic representations of the ___'x'___ in a strain cross, at least for the majority of people I speak with about the subject.

Honestly, the only people who I've ever actually heard verbally express the 'x' as 'times' have been straight up noobs who couldn't tell a calyx from their cock....no offense...:tiphat:
